New grower in need of advise

Safe bet? Start them in a 12 oz plastic solo cup (cut holes in the bottom for drainage) and give them 3-4 weeks in that to establish a good root system before up potting to the 5 gal. A lot easier to monitor moisture levels in a smaller pot. Push comes to shove, I've used soda cups from the...

    Trouble getting seeds started

Like GNick55 said, everyone has a different method. Ask 10 different farmers, you'll likely get 10 different variations. Me, I wait for a full moon, build a bonfire and dance naked around it. Backwards. Om one foot. With my boxers on my head. Racing stripe out. Then I carefully scuff the seeds...

New grower in need of advise

Also, fwiw, whenever I suspect they need a dose on nitrogen, I reach for the Alaskan fish fertilizer. It's 5-1-1, so high nitrogen. If that's what's lacking, it greens your plants up nicely and also gives seedling a little growth spurt boost. And it's safe even for young plants, it won't nute...

New grower in need of advise

Nope. Best case scenario you gain some experience and a scrawny little bud, probably not even enough for a joint. I've never grown autos, from what I understand they can be a little tricky for new growers. You're giving it about a cup and 1/4 of water every 3 days. How big is the pot...

New grower in need of advise

I'd maybe raise the light to 65 cm. 43 might be a bit too close even with a low watt led like that. What's your watering schedule like? As in how often are you watering and giving them a good dry back (assuming that's soil you're growing in). Honestly, if it was me, I'd chop that and start...

Stunted and flowering. Is it an auto? The edges of the leaves look like they're curling up slightly, not to mention the yellowing, which makes me wonder how close your light is to the top of the plant.

New Updated 2023 QWISO methods etc.

Did I hear correctly? That was from a 1/4 lb of weed? Because I can get zippers of shake from the dispensary for $15 lol. What's the recommended dosage for eating? Smoking is off the table due to the COPD. Wondering if it would dissolve well into my morning coffee. I have serious lower back...

New Updated 2023 QWISO methods etc.

Bonus points for expertly wielding the utility machete in getting the plastic off the top of the jug without slicing the f*** out your hand. I hate those cursed inner seals you have to peel off. You never need longer fingernails until immediately after you trim them.

Help with what’s wrong with my 2 plants

Fox Farm Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, or Beastie Bloomz? They're all pretty low N value, you might just need to give them a dose of high N, like Alaskan Fish Fertilizer.

I think I'm in lust with that outdoor Kalamata red X Maui waui. Your indoor gear looks great, but the outdoor? It's on another level, my friend. Well done.

    2nd Grow, I need advice

This. Most of the pistils are still white, a few turning rusty red. My guess is in a couple of weeks she'd bulk up and then 2-3 weeks after that be ready for harvest.

Recent feeding with noticeable negative results

1-2 tablespoons of each? How often? I ask because I see burnt leaf tips and clawed leaves, which leads me to think you're overfeeding. The discoloration on the stalk is a real head scratcher for me, I've never run into that before. The discoloration of the leaves makes me think you've got a...

Recent feeding with noticeable negative results

Every word of this. Those meters have been responsible for ruining more grows than I can count. They're pretty much worthless. Pick it up and throw it in the trash. For the money, Apera has a great ph/EC meter, and Blue Lab is tops but costs more. My guess is that's screwing your plant up with...

Great. Now post a picture of the actual meter itself please. If it's what I think it is, that may be part of your problem.
