i use 4-6oz glasses with coffee, i put molasses and sugar in coffee to make sweet/sticky and get quite a few fungus gnats..i put the glasses next to the center stem in the pots sitting right on the soil(promix)..i used the old coffee grounds and just added more water to coffee pot..i just read...

i have read on alot of sites that people will water there plants when the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry(5-gal bucket growers)..this is a dangerous way of gauging the dryness of the soil/medium because the top 2-3" may be dry but, the bottom of the bucket(bottom 6-8 inches) will be water...

im sure you aware of this but, i will say it for the new guys..different nutes uptake at different ph levels..good ph 5.2-6.2 i have found..here is a chart for the availability of nutrients at different ph levels, the chart to follow for pro mix is the chart on the right of the page..i got it...

i will be adding the dol lime, i did feed the heck out of them in 1st grow(every 5-7days)75% strentgh w/general organics bio line, these nutes ph water around 5.5.-6.0 and the store i bought the promix(agway) from said to ph water at 6.0-6.5. i should not of increased the ph after adding nutes...

i appreciate the feedback piehole, you are right in the range that alot of growers are using with promix..the nutes do bring the dechlorinated water ph level to 5.5-6.0..the nutes claim no ph ing needed..i will try the ph levels you are using and see what happens..the general organics big bud...
