You're right, but if you first start out hydro it can be easily over look for a number of reason. 1. It says it on the back stating that it work with hydro, soil, and soilless.. 2. That guy down at the store said you can. You live and you learn

But nutrients does enhance the progression of the pythium problem tho. Ill post a few pics of the nutrients that I've xperienced with that enhances pythium. These might work great with soil but horrible in hydro.

Do you think Calmag nutrients is the underlying cause of your pythium trouble.

Do you think its a good idea to add h2o2, after a day add bennies, after 4-5 days add h2o2 again then rez change after a day. Do you think this method will help with the pythium issue or just use h202 only. Thanx inadvance

I'm clueless between this debate you guys are having, im currently running rdwc with sterile system but my roots arent that crisp white, I'm still debating whether to add tea to my rdwc system or not. My buddy is growing on a UC sterilize system but hasnt mention anything about bennies or tea...

So are you saying Tea is compatible with UC system..

Are you using your compost tea with your chiller? I thought you dont need a chiller if you are using compost tea with rdwc

I understand you have to use the freshly compost tea after 48hrs after brewing unless you put it in the fridge to prolong the life of the microbilia for about 7-10 days lifespan. My question is, has anybody actually tried freezing it then thaw it on their next use. I think its practical n surely...
