    Is it ready to harvest

I’m not sure you could fit a true 1000w light in a tent that small, but no it will fry your plants. Are you confusing how many watts are being drawn at the socket, vs watt equivalent, which is a marketing thing. Most lights advertised as 1000w actually draw 100 watts of power.

    Urgent help, she’s dying.

I'd say she's about toast! What are you growing in? If it's coco, it looks kinda dry. Could be a root issue too! I think at this point I'd pop some fresh seeds.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

Lots rhododendrons, there’s also wild azaleas, not as showy as the nursery types, but they have a wonderful scent, which they’ve bred out of the store bought ones!

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

That is some remote country. The steelhead on the Smith are definitely the biggest. 20lbers are common. The next biggest fish, strangely enough, are in the Mad River.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

Been years, but I loved fishing the Smith River. About the only river in Ca where the watershed has never been logged! I’ve seen that river rise 16 feet, then be fishable in 4-5 days! The Klamath, Trinity, Eel, and Mad all take 2-3 weeks to get near fishable after they blow out.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah that would be cool, but unfortunately bandwidth is pretty scarce up there! I sent a text on Saturday that took two days to load and actually be received. One bar is a good day!

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

It was cool on sun/mon with a few raindrops, but real nice after that (70’s). Got home to 90 degrees weather!. Put in a little more irrigation on a timer, reminds me of Ron Popeil, “Just set it and forget it!”

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

I was able to by-pass most of it. Cut through Cottonwood and got onto Deschutes, then to Dersch to HW-44. Just got back today, put in about 8 seedlings. We shall see, I only get up there every few weeks.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

I’ll be heading through your area tomorrow morning, going up to the mountains. Got a box of a dozen or so seedling to put in. Gonna do another high altitude grow. Last year it went pretty well. Got some sunset sherbert, white widow, purple overload, and slapz, all seeds from rodelized...

Early flowering auto flower. Please help

Autos begin to flower anytime from about 3 weeks to 7 weeks, usually around 4-5 weeks. Hot/cold and hours of sunlight don't really have much of an effect, other than you'll get more growth with extended sunight hours. There's not a lot you can do to extend or delay flowering. They flower when...

    Duds; Is It A Virus?

You can graft cannabis to hops, but why? If you graft the vegetative portion of cannabis to hop roots, it still looks like marijuana, if you graft the hops vegatative portion to cannabis rootstock, it looks like hops, but does not produce any THC. Hops is the only plant that will graft with...

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

They are mostly aerial, they've been undergrounding a lot of the lines up in the hills because of the fire danger, but where I'm at the water table is too high and the flooding can be a problem in the winter.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

Spoke too soon on the power, wind was howling all day and about 2pm the power went down, at least the generator started right up. Power came back about 10 pm.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

Cost wasn’t bad considering, it was $330 to walk into emergency on a Saturday, and the exam was another $65. Luckily they didn’t have to do an MRI or Catscan. Which reminds me of an old joke. Guy walks into the vet with his pet duck, tells the vet “there’s something wrong with my duck”. The...

    First 3 way...Light comparison, obviously

You need to get the light closer to those seedlings, they’re extremely stretchy! When you transplant you can bury the stem almost to the cotyledons.

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

Hopefully not for me, I'm surrounded by water on three sides, so very little fire danger for me, but you never know what "block" you're in. Never had them turn it off for weather/fire issues, but have been subject to a coupe brownouts during peak power draw. Was in Vacaville/Davis earlier...

Blazing heat, smoke-filled skies, illegal! What could possibly go wrong?

I have two generators because one won’t quite run the AC in the trailer, it’ll normally start ok, but once the compressor develops head pressure and tries to turn on it’s too much draw and generator kicks out, so I have a parallel kit to hook them together.
