    Dehumidification Load: Day Vs. Night

You are correct. We need to account for Evapotranspiration. Essentially all of the water for irrigation ends up in the air and this is why we focus on irrigation rates. The dehumidifier must be sized for worst case. Would this be at the very end of the grow cycle?

    Dehumidification Load: Day Vs. Night

Yes, I agree. But the transpiration rate also decreases at night. This is the value I am seeking. Looks like Hydro-Guy has done some real data gathering which reveals an 85%/15% split in day/night transpiration rates. Any other collaboration would be appreciated. Thank you all

    Dehumidification Load: Day Vs. Night

Herb, Thanks for the compliment but we are mechanical engineers who design Climate Control systems for Cannabis facilities, and not horticulturists. We are typically give irrigation rates in gallons/day and we then need to divide this between day and night use in order to properly size our...

    Dehumidification Load: Day Vs. Night

No problem. Do you have a feel for the the day/night transpiration rate difference? 90%/10% or 80%/20% or etc...?

    Dehumidification Load: Day Vs. Night

We use 10% of day transpiration RATE. There are indications this is higher and we are waiting for some real data to arrive before changing this formula.
