    Transitioning to outdoors

This reply is for new Growers. In California there is absolutely no reason to start the plants indoors it, will only confuse them. Plant your Sprouts directly Outdoors between the end of April in the end of May. These are annual plants that mature 4 to 6 months old. Starting indoors is...

    Help Needed Strange Bugs

First off please please Don't Spray crap on your plant as others have said. If you look at the ingredients on the so-called organic stuff it's mostly " other ingredients" unidentified emulsifiers carriers etc etc and we just don't know what it could do burning and smoking it. That gnat looking...

    2018 Outdoor Girls

Don't panic and rush out to Home Depot for spray cuz you have a few leaf nibbling insects on your plants they won't even go for your flowers. A few pests are normal , predatory insects should take care of them if your plants are healthy. If you look at the ingredients of Safer, Captain Jack's...

Dark Purple Disease Affecting New Growth?

Dude I'm not here to debate or argue. Water drops in the sun don't burn plants. Mist quickly turns into "blobs" . Not to mention I routinely spray my plants down in the mid day sun. In the desert. 100 + degree days. Never had burn. Did you even bother to look at the video or read the title ? I...

Dark Purple Disease Affecting New Growth?

This is a common mis conception. Water on leaves in the sun WILL NOT BURN the plant. I grow in the Mojave desert in SoCal and during heat waves I turn on the misting system and the girls LOVE it. never experienced burn. Here, check out my current grow (rareroots on Youtube)...

    2018 Outdoor Girls

Sad. What a beautiful animal, and an important part of Jah ecosystem. Even if he was IN your grow, take a broom stick and gently re-locate him. Only reason to be scared of him is if you're a gopher, otherwise killing ANY snake is ignorance. IW

    Trinity California Outdoor/deps 2018

Growing Cannabis is all about Peace, Love, and Harmony. Doesn't matter if you're growing one plant or many. No need to throw juvenile insults about "my grow is bigger than your grow". Sounds like someone has anatomy insecurity. My main concern here, people come to this site to learn, and some of...

    My 2017 Outdoor Girls ~

Avid is only approved for ornamental use. If you're just going to look at your flowers then spray away. I wouldn't put that on my cannabis crop at any time veg or flower. Pack a bowl of azamax or avid no thanks. I don't care if Babylon tells us it's okay. IW

How To Keep Thieves Out Of Your Outdoor Grow?

Set up a small tent inside the grow area with a radio on, low but loud enough to hear when you approach. Better yet, two radios tuned to different channels. IW

    Growing In The Desert

They thrive in the Mojave desert at 3600' elevation. Regularly hits 110+ in the summer. I have well drained sandy soil and leave a constant drip going , they drink as much as they need. Key is keeping water available at all times. You can't do this in coastal areas, the roots will rot if over...

    Northern California Fires!

For those of you in the fire areas that haven't harvested yet, WASHING YOUR BUDS WILL HELP !. I don't know about smoky buds, but it will get rid of ashes, dirt, etc. I'm in the middle of harvesting my SoCal outdoor, and this bud washing is catching on and will be the norm very soon. Clean weed...

    Outdoor Supersoil

There certainly isn't a shortage of Cabbage White Butterflies in Southern Cal. They were especially thick this year. Their larvae, the dreaded "bud caterpillar" is the main culprit in cannabis crop devastation. I used tulle netting to keep them out of my grow area this year, and not one...

This Site Needs Some Good Outdoor Grow Logs

I copied and pasted your direct quotes from page 73 of the russet mite sticky thread. You also said you wouldn't spray after week 3 of flower. FAIL. You should never spray in flower. Period. I would never spray Avid on a cannabis crop at anytime. To the mods, I am trying to play nice, and this...

I'm not hating on you dude, I'm just trying to protect the health of unknowing consumers. People come to this site to gain helpful information, and for you to suggest it's OK to spray when trichs are developing is, like I said, bad info that can harm people. And your quote above is a perfect...

This Site Needs Some Good Outdoor Grow Logs

Dude, here is what you said in the russet mite thread, regarding spraying Avid, which is not approved for food crops, let alone something that will be smoked : "I wont spray after they start getting frosty" and "Id say spray now until they start getting heavy trich production" Now let's take a...
