Update Still got some time but i think they are doing good. Some are filling out quite well. I included a pick from underneath one on the buds, big knuckle matted in the the screen area.

Using cfls yes. But for the last almost 2 weeks I've been getting them under a 1000hps any days i could do it manually. Why did it not strike you as a cfl grow anymore?

Update couple days past halfway on the harvest time. Things are looking pretty good. Little leggy, way to much to the right. But, I'm happy with it for the most part.

600 is what i'd get. Good wattage, not quite as demanding of resources. I bet you'll like it.

Right on!..That is one of the brands I've been looking at. A pair of 300s is what I've got in the 'ol wheelhouse. What kind of area you got them in? This box is 47"x28"x52"(tall)

All of them are 2700k. That hood has 12 23watt (100watt equivalent) 2700k cfls. Four extras(same) around edge. I was planning on something bigger, 42s (150watt) cfls but these are much cheaper and they are seeming to work. If I stay with cfl I'll up the wattage in this box just use the lower...
