I'm not sure if that big boy filter can remove the taps source of cal/mag. I certainly don't know anything about clogging roots but I would not add any unless you see signs of Cal or Mag deficiency. When using tap it's usually better to stay away from adding it unless you get your water tested...

Although I wish the picture was higher resolution, for me I would say a week left. I like pulling when I see a few amber but also that makes lighter oils which is my main method of intake.
