Grandpa’s Stash R2 by Ethos Genetics

Nice. I think this strain is dynamite. Fat yield and fast to finish for me. Looks like the same for you! Every Ethos strain I have tried has been excellent.

    Farmer Ned’s Ethos Mandarin Cookies

Hey team, I had such good luck with Ethos Cookies and Grandpa’s Cookies I fired up some Ethos Mandarin Cookies V2 and they have been so vigorous. I cut these back once, and they filled out again after 10 days and were ready to flower. I transplanted them into 5 gallon bags of Chubby Buddha 70/30...

HELP - 1st time growing in DWC = Multiple mixed signals issues.

Yes. the solution needs to touch the bottom of those net cups. Shoot for 6.0 on you PH. Lower than that is too low IMO unless you are using rockwool as your medium.

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

Just an update, I switched back to Jacks and everything has been good on this run.

Ethos Grandpa’s Cookies did not disappoint!

Some Ethos Grandpa’s Cookies I recently harvested, and a bush that still has 2-3 weeks to go. I switched to an ROI680 a few months ago, and I supplemented it with a Mars 350 watt bar light with Samsung diodes. I can absolutely say the Samsung diodes are my preference by far. These are in 3...

Curing and harvesting problems I need some help with

The Grove bags maintain whatever humidity the buds are at when you put them in there. They aren’t going to bring 75% down to 62% for example. They will maintain the humidity in that 58-62 range once you get the nuggs there. Personally, I find paper bags smell like recycled mill pulp. Sort of...

    OZONE Generator and powdery mildew

I haven’t used an ionizer but if I may make a suggestion, I found if I use Silica at the right amount I don’t see PM take hold on my plants. I use Silica Gold brand and I found it alleviated my problem. My landlord brings outside plants inside in the winter, and even though they are way down in...

Proper silica levels create higher resistance to PM?

Thanks a bunch that was very cool.

Proper silica levels create higher resistance to PM?

Hey team, I noticed WPM on a few leaves about a month ago. I have been so lucky, I have been growing 30 years and I’ve never had it indoors. I bought some stuff called EPM, basically citric acid you dilute and spray to kill WPM and other pests. I removed the affected leaves and sprayed the...

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

No, nothing out of the ordinary. Obviously something was off but still unidentified. Totally spooked me though as I have been growing a long time and I’ve become pretty accurate at estimating my yields, this really threw me.

    Well now I’m still stumped.

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

UPDATE: Circling back, figured out what I did wrong with the Jack’s. I wasn’t using a separate container to mix the part B with water before adding to the solution. I misunderstood the directions to mean not to mix the powders, and I didn’t realize I need a separate container to mix the B with...

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

Thanks everyone. I have a bunch of AN stuff left over, so I’m going to switch back immediately till I identify exactly what my issue with the Jack’s was on this last run.

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

I don’t think the problem is Jacks, I was looking to identify what’s missing. I am going to use Capulator’s formula this run and see what shakes out. My yields have been consistent for years, this is the first surprise I have had in a very long time. It’s devastating and I want to get a handle...

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

What? The most vocal posters don’t even use Jack’s. Sure here are some pics.

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

Thanks so much I appreciate your info and the reply. Yes it was too heavy especially in the nitrogen so I backed off and seemed to balance it. I think missing The trace elements is the issue. I didn’t experience any PH issues and no evidence of lockout or salt buildup. Also, the plants looked...

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

Update. I just read some of these posts. WTF is wrong with you people? You sound like little kids. It’s actually hilarious.

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

Yeah dude take it easy I’m right here. 1. Jack’s 123 is pretty common sorry you haven’t heard of it. 2. Lots of people use organic molasses and it works, you can see it literally within 24 hours. 3. I don’t think you are qualified to answer my question. Here is the scenario. YES I weighed out...

Switched to Jack’s 123 and yield is terrible

I am so bummed out. I switched to JR Peter’s Jack’s 123 and recently harvested my first run with it. I ran clones of Ethos Cookie Rbx that I have run before. With my method of growing I end up 2-3 oz per plant. I ran Jack’s at the recommended PPM’s and also added silica, and molasses for carbs...
