    Chemical attack plan. Please advise.

How soon after the Spinosad can I hit em with the Azamax? There are such conflicting opinions about neem. Many say it does nothing and yet many act like it is the only product you will ever need to keep every single type of pest off the plants. In the past whenever, where ever I talk about pest...

    Chemical attack plan. Please advise.

First off, my usual regimen doesn’t include spraying my plants with a bunch of chemicals/pesticides. The only thing I typically use is Azamax during veg to combat the spider mite I get during flower, but frankly it hasn’t been working very well. But I digress. I neglected to apply the beneficial...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Dude. I’m not gonna go back and forth with you, but you’re the one who’s being a dick cuz I didn’t like your answer. I’m just saying I’ve used Azamax in the past and it didn’t do shit. You can believe whatever you want. I don’t have to agree with you. And as far as the rest of what you said -...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Absolute hogwash. HPS bulbs don’t encourage bugs any more than any other light. And using them in hydro does not create some magical environment that pests love. Ridiculous. The general problem is that just like people - bugs love cannabis and are easily attracted to it. Plain and simple.

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

I’m my experience, Azamax does not eliminate RAs. When this outbreak originally started, the plants that were initially infested were treated weekly with Azamax for several weeks. The RAs could have cared less. Additional treatments did nothing. It was at this point that I started using...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Lol I guess nothing. I’m just not sure what to do. I’m trying to just get the rest of my plants through. Then I’m gonna flea bomb the hell out of my basement and start from scratch.

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Yea I saw that. However, I see no reason why I can’t basically soak the entire root zone in the solution as recommended just as I would a soil plant. Also, almost all of my hydro plants were initially vegged in 1 gallon coco poly bags. Pretty much that entire gallon of coco went into the 6”...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Ok. I’ve ordered Bontanigard ES. I’ve actually been looking at this product off and on for months. I hope it lives up to its hype. It’s frickin expensive enough. These are the manufacturers recommended application rates...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Wow that is quite a difference in concentration. I have heard of botanigard, again, with conflictions of effectiveness. The other one I’ve heard of is Met 52. I’m also aware of the superbug possibility, which is why I haven’t used any chemicals already. All if these seem to need to be...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Arg. More confliction. So, which is it? Will Imid give a complete RA kill or only kill a few?? I realize there is no single answer to eradicate these things. Over months of reading, it seems most people see results using multiple chemicals. However, it’s obviously only worthwhile to use...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Ok great thanks! Yea I can’t find an application rate for hydro. I thought I remember Demon_Trich saying something like 10ml per gallon. I can’t remember. I know he’s familiar with Imid as well.

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

I’ve decided to treat a few of my plants with Promis to see if it will help with my root aphid problem. In my DWC set up I’m not sure how I should apply the Promis to it. How much Promis per gallon should I apply to each reservoir? Is 1 application enough or should it be repeated and at what...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Interesting about the sulfur. I may have to redesign my vegging area so I can utilize it. Especially if it only needs to be done once a week. I could tent it somehow. How long does it need to burn exactly? Ultimately I’d like to move my grow areas to my separate garage, etc but due to the...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

I’m not sure I’m willing to go as far as using something that is a known hazardous chemical yet. It is my understanding that the imidacloprid should give a complete kill (not just control) and hopefully I can eliminate any spider mite beforehand. If there are any aphid super survivors, it is...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

Interesting. I knew it would kill any beneficials. Hopefully I can clear any spider mite out with the Azamax and maybe I’ll try that habanero spray - how do you make that diesel? I can’t really burn sulfur in my vegging area, it’s not closed off enough. I’d have my whole house reeking like...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

I’ve been dealing with these root aphids for over two months, so I’m well aware of their behavior, how much they suck ass, blah blah blah. I have been controlling them naturally with Dalotia Coriaria (rove beetles) and frankly, they have been doing a tremendous job. But they have stopped short...

Spider Mite, Root Aphids And Pesticides

After a relentless battle with these root aphids, I have decided to try and chemically eliminate them from some of my vegging plants. I realize that many things claim to kill root aphids, but the fact is many don’t work. After much research, I think I will use Promis (imidacloprid). Does anyone...
