Hi everyone!

Passing by to share about my third grow:

I had planned on going with 3 Euforia autos from Dutch Passion. I got them at a good promo price, but i reckon they must have been very old seeds and only one germinated.

Since I wasn’t keen on having all my setup turned on for just one plant, I decided to germinate three Critical Orange Punch photo I bought together.

So I’m now with those 4 plants growing in their 60x60 cm tent (~24x24”).

The Euforia auto is a week older than the 3 photos. They are on a 18/6 regime. And I intend to switch to 12\12 whenever the photos are big enough so I don’t jam the tent.

I know this isn’t ideal for the auto that will end up having a lower yield, coz I doubt it’ll finish before the other three are ready to flower. But it’s worth the experience I guess.

They are under a 150w light, in peat+perlite 50%. Only watered a couple of times at 6.3 with no food yet.

I just find one fairly pale compared to the others, but they look ok all together I think.

I’ll post updates to show how they get along together and see what kind of yield I manage with the auto.

Any advice more than welcome!

Thanks for all the knowledge shared around here and for all the questions already answered in others threads!

Edit: photos popped 10 days ago. It also is my first go at auto flower.

One of the benefits to running autos is the use of 18-6 or even more to make up for low wattage of lights.
3 photos and an auto under a 150 watt light is less than 24 watts a square foot for the tent size. The generally accepted watt per for a photo plant is 35-45 watts.

In addition I have one of these size tents with 2 photo plants in it now and it will fill the tent full up. I doubled the tent to 300 watts and it will run 2 very well but with one door I can not get to the back or move the plants.
I got pics of you want to see how tight it will be.

Hahahah! I actually thought of that just after I uploaded the pics.

This thing is so impossible to deep clean, and with constant ambient heat and humidity, I’m not managing to keep this thing clean for very long….

I was actually wondering whether I’m creating some sort of microcosm that would be beneficent or harmful to the plants!!

I’m not sure I want to see! I knew I was gonna get myself into trouble but went ahead anyway… let’s see how it goes.

I’m thinking a rather quick flip to 12/12 so I can manage the space with Scrog.

My last grow was with two plants. It felt like I still had plenty space. Probably because I’m not the best grower so my plants don’t get too big.

Sure I guess if I went into a minimum of effort that would work. But then I thought, is it really worth it?

I’m considering it a biological experiment. Say the water is full of some algae, surly this could be helpful somehow to the tent’s ecosystem.

If im right and the Crit Orange is roughly a 9 week flower (+2) and the Euforia is a 12 week (+2) seed to harvest, you may get lucky and get to harvest all at once. Not likly but who knows, maybe the gods will smile upon you! I think they are both tall plants so 14 days as seedlings and 1 week veg before 12/12 to keep things timed together?
Are you not using distilled water in your humidifer?

Good luck.
