Have you checked out Tanita? Very good quality and reliability. I'm gonna be in need of a new one soon.

I have this one. But I find the platform is awfully small. I kinda like this one upon initial examination, but would need to know its guaranteed accuracy (I have a small, two-legged personal interrupter happening here, not letting me do a whole lot).

quick question how long does it stay on for? all these new scales have this auto shut off that just sucks. its like 30 seconds or something. and you have to keep re-taring. i dont mind an auto shut off but it should be like 5 mins or soemthing not 30 seconds. the next scale i buy i will buy for this reason alone.

And is its accuracy reliable enough? Is it legal for trade kind of accurate?

Kid, the triple beam (now that's some old school!) won't ever shut off. ;)
