Thanks! Ah ok, ya I'm going to be using soil…gonna pop a few different beans and prob go with the 2 gals…first time with LED and prob bout 10 years since my last indoor grow so i may have some questions.Hey bro welcome to the dark side
I haven't grown in anything but hydro I can't help just wanted to say hello and welcome I'm sure you'll like 12-12 from seed it totally rocks!!
This is for photos. I would recommend at least 18/6 for autos. Depending on your abilities as a grower I think 2-4oz per plant is a reasonable number for most auto strains. 1/2-1oz if you mess it up. Ballpark.forgive me for not going thru 35 pages of reading, but is this 12/12 with photos or autos?
i asked plumbersomebody about yield on photos and he said 1 oz maybe.
if this is autos then what could i expect , ballpark, yield?
Looks fine, as long as the green doesn't get too light. Which soil are y using, what light and how far away? 75% is definitely too much maybe just get closer and stick to 25% or 50%. Too intense light will cause worse problems then leggy seedlings. What’s up everyone. 9 outta 9 popped…my first go with LED so I started at 25% and noticed they started getting a little leggy so I bumped it up to 50% yesterday and now 75%…taking a peek every once in a while, paranoid about burning them like I’ve seen so many others do.

I’m using ffof and they seem to be liking the 75% at 12” from the tops…it’s only 200w Vivosun, came with 3x3 tent, which I expect to be adequate at best, the light that is…I’ll be grabbing some of those led strips a little later I think…def keeping a close eye for any issues.Looks fine, as long as the green doesn't get too light. Alright, I don't know vivosun lights but if I put my, viparspectra xs1500pro(150w) at 12" with 75% i would burn my seedlings for sure!I’m using ffof and they seem to be liking the 75% at 12” from the tops…it’s only 200w Vivosun, came with 3x3 tent, which I expect to be adequate at best, the light that is…I’ll be grabbing some of those led strips a little later I think…def keeping a close eye for any issues.
Ok thanks, that’s good info for me..they do seem ok, but I’ll get an app and check and adjust.Alright, I don't know vivosun lights but if I put my, viparspectra xs1500pro(150w) at 12" with 75% i would burn my seedlings for sure!
12" is good a good height but I would back up to 50%, but you will see soon if your plants will do good, don't stress em this early. If they can take it, let them thrive, if not back off.
200w for the whole grow in a 3x3 could be enough. I'm using a 480w in my 3x3 but also grew some average buds with the 150w in there. Do y use any ppfd meters or the photone App? Ppfd range for seedling is around 100-300 in the early stages.
