So they're approaching the end of wk8/9 Sun/Mon is the start of wk 10

There's not much happening atm but everything is ok, I've started to lower the nutrient ec the run off ec is a bit strong @2.5/2.6ec issues were inevitable, moving forward I'll need to keep an eye on it.

It's a bit drier than I'm used to working with that's raising the root zone ec, the plants at the right side are catching the breeze off the fan that's driving moisture from the leaves it's not helping the situation

Have a nice weekend folk's

forgive me for not going thru 35 pages of reading, but is this 12/12 with photos or autos?
i asked plumbersomebody about yield on photos and he said 1 oz maybe.
if this is autos then what could i expect , ballpark, yield?

This is for photos. I would recommend at least 18/6 for autos. Depending on your abilities as a grower I think 2-4oz per plant is a reasonable number for most auto strains. 1/2-1oz if you mess it up. Ballpark.

What’s up everyone. 9 outta 9 popped…my first go with LED so I started at 25% and noticed they started getting a little leggy so I bumped it up to 50% yesterday and now 75%…taking a peek every once in a while, paranoid about burning them like I’ve seen so many others do.

Looks fine, as long as the green doesn't get too light. Which soil are y using, what light and how far away? 75% is definitely too much maybe just get closer and stick to 25% or 50%. Too intense light will cause worse problems then leggy seedlings.

A tip I picked up that's worth sharing...
Fill seedlings pots/pouches about 2/3rd then later if there's any issue with leggy seedlings you can top the pots up burying the leggy stem

I’m using ffof and they seem to be liking the 75% at 12” from the tops…it’s only 200w Vivosun, came with 3x3 tent, which I expect to be adequate at best, the light that is…I’ll be grabbing some of those led strips a little later I think…def keeping a close eye for any issues.

My closet is now permanently set to 11/13 lighting. All plants will now be grown 11/13 from seed.

Ended up with 3 female blackberry kush plants from Eight Brother. I did grow these under 6/2 lighting for the first 5-6 weeks though. Used that time to work out any issues with the new setup. Did run into a flooding issue. Roots started to block the bulkheads and slowed the water exchange enough to overfill the plant bucket. I just lifted each plant to pull the roots back through and trimmed any I couldn't get out of the bulkheads. Added screens to the 2 empty units and will do the same to the other 3 when these plants finish.

Started germinating 2 of these seeds to fill the remaining spots. These will be the first plants to 11/13 from seed in the closet.

Alright, I don't know vivosun lights but if I put my, viparspectra xs1500pro(150w) at 12" with 75% i would burn my seedlings for sure!
12" is good a good height but I would back up to 50%, but you will see soon if your plants will do good, don't stress em this early. If they can take it, let them thrive, if not back off.
200w for the whole grow in a 3x3 could be enough. I'm using a 480w in my 3x3 but also grew some average buds with the 150w in there. Do y use any ppfd meters or the photone App? Ppfd range for seedling is around 100-300 in the early stages.
Cheers, keep us updated

So it's been 9wks since putting seed to coco.

The blue Afghani held out longer than I expected but it's showing problems now.

I can't get to it to measure the run off independently, well I could get to it but not without a lot of hassle removing everything 1st.

Blueberry twist it's been reliable ime fruity/blueberry terps with a hint of cat piss in some phenos, I've got another 5pk of them it's a good one to have on hand.

So I'm going to start some of my own crosses and I've a few new ones from Majik Bloom they're excellent quality genetics.
