Good luck taming down them monster clones..lol. Taking leaf is just promoting more branching with them things. You'll prob end up culling branches too. They can get pretty congested. Theres just sooo much growth with those type clones. Its why I use them as much as I can.So the seeds are moving along I'm still waiting on 1 but it's stirring I expect to see it in the morning

You might remember I re potted the clones from the best smelling plants.

I've been defoliating them frequently hoping to stop them getting out of control, the node spacing is encouraging.
idk when they're going to flower I've not got my flwr tent sorted out yet
Never mind I'm enjoying the vegging side atm

I've tried to correct the yellowing in those clones with 1.7ec 0.4 of that calmag it's not working
I've got a vague recollection of epsom salts helping previously, thing is that suggests calmag should help, pffft there's always some drama playing out
Have a nice weekend everyone 🕊
That sounds real similar to my style. I get a few colas from seed and flowering clone plants with training. The plan is to tie down the main tops, let 4 side shoots per plant catch up, then flip, giving me 5 colas per plant.
I've fixed them down after sexing, i don't have much space I veg them in my clone tent then transfer them into the flower tent after sexing.I've always been intrigued by 12/12 from seed grows. I'm currently gearing up for a 4 Afghan Kush grow in 3.5gal SIP buckets in a 3x3.

I figure it'll take around a 4 week veg for this. What type of yield difference would I be looking at just going 12/12 from seed instead?
I've got dozens of these seeds so I wouldn't mind trying this out if the potential yield is there.
They did turn out nice....I found some pictures of during/after tieing them.

They still turned ok but there's room for improvement with tieing them earlier.
Tieing them later left me with a stem to deal with, had I tied them earlier they'd have been easier to manage/shape.
Hey bro thank you, i was looking at yours a couple of days back i decided I could use 3 for a row of clones at the back jusr for startersThey did turn out nice....
If ya decide to do that again small floaters would help ya train them. I use 12x12 like this to flower if I want a smaller plant. 3 in a row fit a 2x4 space nice.

It sounds like a contradiction but I'm downsizing bro, I don't intend to use all of the 8x4ft only about half, half is going to be like my workshop, a problem a had was smell getting out of the tent when swapping plants around or anything that involved the plants outside of the tent now it'll be contained always, I've got somewhere to clone, trim, tie, drink tea and smoke jointsYou'll love the big tent. I have a 4x8 and have grown a lot of weed in there. Seems your moving up and im moving to downsize. Giving my 4x8 to my daughter. Ill keep my 4x4,2x4, and 2x3 for the move. I can grow a lot in the winter with these. I can also veg some outdoor plants.
Takes a little time messing with the flowering clones but they are worth the little extra effort. If managed right they produce big time branching.
Can't wait to see how you lay out this big tent. That'll keep ya busy for sure.
Hey bro, the white thing is a data logger, they're handy it let's me check on things without opening the tent and upsetting the stable environment.Curiosity peaked. What are these for @Coconutz? Shielding sensors from direct light I assume.
Good thinking. I figured it was shielding some sort of sensor from radiated heat. I may just snag this idea myself. My logger lives outside my tent, but I've been thinking of ways to shield my sht45 temp/rh sensor from radiant heat. I was thinking a cut open ping pong ball but this seems like it may work a little better. Also need to figure out how I'm going to shield my par sensor without blocking the light.Hey bro, the white thing is a data logger, they're handy it let's me check on things without opening the tent and upsetting the stable environment.
The other one is only a piece of card tube, it acts as a shade from the light and ensures the temperature probe is reading the air temp and not radiated heat from light.
Looks beautiful there man, but good lord bro, you just bombed this thread with 35 pics…not trying to be a dick, but this is the 12-12 from seed thread, not the life in Ecuador thread…just sayin.Coastal Ecuador
Yeah @TerpBeans it doesnt matter what the effects are or what it taste like. As long as it doesnt mold! And act like you didnt see all those pics of the indoor grows with lights and fertilizers. Dehumidifiers arent a thing that far south. This is the frontier a hour away American speacials forces have entered your not here growing in a tent look you can't even get in here your just upset your weed molds here an is worthless an my grow shop doesn't promote it lol if you where a southern grower you no what I'm talking about hey I'm just telling the truth lol you aren't getting fifty percent humidity here is reality isn't up north
