I put about 1 pound in each hole and a sprinkle in my abortion off a pollen basket.i just ordered 3lbs.

just brace outside of box on the sides,if your talking about weed,i would make a box about 3x3 for one tree,if you dug 2 1/2 ft then laid the box on top ,that be a great loose bed and back fill,,with weed i would do at least a 4 to 5 in layer of compost ,then back fill with ocean forest,this is just a one tree box,,for a crap load of soil,i use 1:1:2 methodi have a question. i have my hole 2 feet deep or more, with the side i figure im shooting for 4 feet of dirt in my make shift redneck raised bed. :p
speaking of which i lost my glasses again, i found them in the mud with the lens popped out, hah how i did i not step on them i do not know.
oh yeah , is it a good idea to back fill the outside of the raised beds wooden frame?
