Gromies ! I was able to cut 7 degrees with two 120mm fans . One on bottom , one on top . Both intake. Within my 3x3.

I've been in the IT field majority of my life . With PC building , better for mor positive air than negative .
I have used fans off computer cases in the past.

I planned on making one for my 3x3 intake and a fan that cools the light driver aswell. They sit nicely in the duct openings. Or placed on the driver itself .

Someone else has same bright idea .

Now you can buy usb powered , variable speed 120mm fans . With foot grommets!

Figured I'd share . AC infinity makes one, which is doing better then my generic one .

Take a look .

I use a 120mm computer-type fan on my drying tent. It has a speed control and plugs into a standard A/C outlet. Amazon sells them. I made a mounting plate for it to fit the tent opening. The variable speed is nice because I want to move air slowly for drying.

The AC Infinity fans are intended for use with electronic equipment.

Exactly! I've purchased two ( as mentioned ) . AC infinity seems to be a little faster.

Later on, If I were to upgrade those 120mm fans I could use on all types of electrical .

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I usually leave my fans on. I'll lower the speed when they sleep, but stay on. What about you guys?

I know a grower who makes light baffles out of cardboard. The size and shape are up to your imagination. I've seen them on both the inside and outside of the tents. Tent air vents with Velcro make it easy to attach a baffle. Air ducts can work, too, but cost more than cardboard, but probably are quieter.

That’s a good idea
You could have it so the opening was facing downward
I like the cardboard idea with the reduced noise
You could even hook up lightweight wood and make a box outa that

lol stoners are the best at making things work haha

Might give it a try come summer myself

This is the way.

I wonder why the drivers for our led boards do not include cooling fans? PSU ( Power Supply Units ) for PC's have fans built in....

I've seen something like that on a small light with a built in fan, but not within the driver .

I'd go with detachable driver on my next light.

I've wondered that myself. I've also considered gluing a heat sink on to it. I did put 80mm fans on lights that I'm not using now.

I was thinking about doing this DIY a couple weeks ago. It's nice to see the done up fans are cheap enough
My electrical knowledge sucks. But I want to get more experience .

It really is great.
I like to push music in my grow and on my water
So I taped up a small speaker from an old desktop voice recorder, onto a very small box and attached it to the panda door
My old shelf CD player has an alarm setting, so I'll play bird calls before lights on and classical after they come on
