13 hour dark ?

My first uc grow (uc4xl) and I've read flowering can take longer in uc. The post suggested lowering res temp to 59, lowering res levels....I know at the end of flower darkness for 2-3 days will help push resin production. Will a 13 hr dark period help me in any way ?

depends on the strain, but usually found that it takes about an extra week to finish up. I dont know about lowering to 59, that to me sounds a little low. I usually have mine set at about 65-66 in in the last week and have the water level lower. . Drop the temperatures to much and it could cause some slow growth. I am sure some of seasoned veterans will chime in and be able to answer it better. Before chop down, I run a 48 hour dark period.

I dropped my temps into the high 50's but just the last week and drop the water level to around 2/3 or even 1/2 that final week. I've also cut my lighting back. Actually around week 7 I throw mostly metal halide 10k bulbs in the room instead of the 4k bloom bulbs not sure which one of those things stack the crystals like I see but that shit works. Trichromes get so big the bud glistens and looks wet. Last test was at 27% THCA.
