I'm 15 weeks in on my first auto (northern lights), but this plant keeps growing pistils, not sure if this is just because she has more to give or a stress response.
Anyway, some poor microscope images (sorry, really hard to get pics hand held with one of these), What's the opinion on here? I'm seeing a fair few amber but also quite a few clear as well
You do have quite the mix of trichs, but you're really close. Make sure you're looking at the trichs on the caylxes, not the sugar leaves, those mature much earlier and are not as good of an indicator of ripeness. It's quite possible that plant may be foxtailing, but I cant tell without a pic of the entire bud/plant. If its foxtailing, disregard those trichs in judging whether it's ready.

Looks like a stress response. It's difficult to tell if they're foxtailing or not, but given the amount of dead leaves in the buds, watch them like a hawk, because that's an invitation to bud rot. I'd say remove as many of those dead leaves in the buds as you can. There doesn't look like there's too much photosynthesis going on. I'd pull soon, your trichs look pretty ready. Let's see if we can get some other opinions.
Yeah she's been a fun learning experience for sure.
I pull the dead leaves daily, and I don't think I see any foxtailing. I'll see what other have to say but I think I may chop soon as she's looking more and more like she's on her last legs every day.
