Hi everyone I'm Damian erm this is my first grow have never done anything like this before.

Would like an experienced grower to have a once over at my practice setup using promo seeds.

Have Included my mad scientist notes so please please feel free offer advice and opinions

My main concerns are pruning and training and topping etc...

Thanks Damian

Topping will spread out the grow but so can low stress training where you work on bending over the main stem. Topping and then bending after the recovery can also double your main stem response allowing you to choose 2 directions to train your plant. I am not going to top my autos will train in one direction like I did my photos. I did top and even fimmed one of the plants and well that plant went nuts. I kinda told me where it was going.
Work on a lower wider canopy from a choice you made on setup. Put a board and mount the duct fan outside next grow. It will give you an additional 12 inches of grow room.
75 F will move things along faster but not a deal breaker.
Work towards a level canopy but make sure you leave an out for the main stem or topped stem runs. These will be stretching more than the other growth and will prolly be your main tops and highest. If you move these runs towards the outside of your lights you can maintain a level energy canopy on your grow by higher flowers at lower edge of panel light pattern and farther down flowers in the high level center of the panel.
Good luck.

makes some sense I have literally watched videos online, kept snakes in the past so I have a good knowledge of humidity and temps so I figured it couldn't be that hard I love to smoke it so I'll have a shot at growing

Sorry got sidetracked.
Read diaries. Go to the diary section and use the search feature. You can Taylor for diaries that mention your grow style or nutes or even strain by using the search feature. There is gold in old journals. The good ones are honest about problems and will show you mistakes you will not have to make. Things like $20 pH pens and 9 bags of nutes and other lessons.
Growweedeasy.com is a good reference. I post lots of links for new growers and mostly quote from the Bible of growing weed easy.

Welcome!
I reccomend 18/6 plants need sleep too, I don't use synthetic nutes, but good luck

Welcome to the Farm! Jim nailed it with the old threads having gold in them! : ) you can read through mine in regards to purchasing nutrients that dont work or less than desirable! But sometimes we have a hunger to find out on our own and thats ok too! Im almost all learn the hard way even if folks tell me otherwise! πŸ˜† Canna420 is a very knowledgeable grower here at the Farm : ) ✌️

Like I said guys I'm totally new to this I have peiced together my kit from you tube videos and Google AI the fact that you guys haven't slaughtered me is a relief I can't be doing that disastrous laughs 😊

Well spent some time on the biobizz website. All organic so no flush required. Found schedules for different mediums on website. Only complaint seems to be smell which was the tie breaker for me and that's why I have same kind of stuff with mint.
pH after mixing and again no cheap pH tools they will break your heart.

Nah we’re not here for that man! : ) we all started somewhere! Im still super green and learning everyday im in my shed! If you are willing to make some adjustments to your nutrients you can get a decent lineup of non synthetics for relatively low cost (i know thats situational and not saying we all have money to burn). But there are tons of members here using synthetic nutes with great results. Just a matter of finding your people sort of speak : ) but everyone around here is very friendly and we all just want to see folks succeed in this hobby! Stick around and youll be growing fire in no time! ✌️

We only make fun of ourselves. It is part of the grow code.

Last forum I was on I followed a guy in mid flower and his setup was a big cardboard box a light and a fan and miracle grow nutes. He was looking at 2 lids easy.

I just realized biobizz says organic so im going to defer to someone who knows more about it : ) but if Canna calls it synthetic then so will I : ) doesnt mean its bad at all! Just another way to feed your plants.

AHH ok well I have been adding nutrients straight into bottled spring water bought from the store with a dropper so PH I hope should be ok but I will order some test strips to check

All you need no buildup no flushing. But
Follow the schedule on the bottle for strength of mix and rate of feed. If it does not specify a PH I would still adjust to 6.5. I understand you put some in full strength. I do not recall other than tomato compost what the medium is so how the dirt will react is unknown. I would not snipe hunt a pH problem absent a presented problem like color change or krinkley as you would have to slurry test the soil properly and interpret properly. Hell if I have to do that I will look up a video. 😜

Thanks for replying well I have ordered some pH test strips to check cause I was clueless myself ATM I'm adding 1ml of biogrow to 2L of spring water which from what I understood was below 6.5 PH

My cycle x 2 is

2L nut water
Day off
2L Plain Spring water
Day off

Rinse and repeat.

Again first timer I'm just happy they look healthy 😊

Ok let's talk watering. If you try to time watering you are going to run into problems. Verify the need for water with the weight of the pot or visible dryback depending on your medium. Do not treat multiple plants the same way. This is going to happen you will get into flower and the water needs will change drastically and your schedule will cause problems.
Organic feed rates can be shared but the amount will be determined by the plant and it's needs.

Bows down all due respect please...Layman's terms I'll do my best but I'm playing catch-up seen some of your grows jaw dropping....
