So decided to try my luck at growing bought a grow tent kit with a DWC. Germination went great got my seeds from fast buds (promotion code 419BUDZ) I'm in about a week and a half in the dwc system it's like no growth. One of my plants starting a yellowing Brown for sure think it's over watering but I'm not for sure plus I don't understand why nothing seems to be growing. I'm sticking to pretty good environment example for seedlings. From what a read and seen what others do. Times humidity VPD PMm water temps pH all seen within range in pretty steady but still feel like I'm having issues any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the farm!

I'm wondering if the light is too intense. Another thought is whether there might be some nutrient burn. I'm not a DWC grower, though, so I don't have a more specific guess.

See I'm not for sure first time growing inside. Light setting I'm going off what the manufacturer says to do..(spiderfarmer). I did just drop it 10% thinking maybe the same but idk..

Reducing the light can help sometimes even if the initial problem wasn't the light. Hopefully some of the DWC growers can help with the nutrient mix. I suspect that might be the actual problem.

Lower the power down as far you can, all seedlings need is very low light levels. No feed for 7-10 days, they have enough in their cotyledons to sustain them that long. After that, give them 250-300 ppm, slowly raise the ppm every couple of days until you are up to 1000-1100 @ 5.9 PH

Make sure the water level is touching the clay pebbles at first to insure it gets enough early on, after the roots grow down into the water on their own, the level can be lowered, thus giving them a little bigger air zone. It is very difficult to over water in dwc if you are supplying ehough o2.
@amneziaHaze is very good at dwc. I'm a rockwool grower but hydro is all pretty similar

Welcome to the Farm! Happy growing!

Got like a 1/2 in under clay pebbles. Seems like they should be getting water splashing clay. I was like 2in above pot because I read that somewhere. But took some out yesterday seem too much.

You can give them some more if they start to stretch

Do you have pH & tds pens? Rather important at 1st, after awhile it becomes like cooking and you'll just remember the different recipes. Until then you are guessing at how much they are actually getting

Go to [forums]> [grow diaries] (under menu bars top left on phones) and search dwc, or whatever topic & it'll show diaries with it.

My latest seed start in rockwool cubes was dismal; only 7/20 survived and were stunted, 2 were male. They are doing fine now.

Seems you are doing everything just right. Sometimes they can just be picky little b%$@*'s.

What water are you using, tap or ro?

Oh, also; you have to tell us as much about your setup as possible, or we're just guessing. Vague statements like "well it's what I read..." are of no use.
