Im putting together a Sun Hut xxl 9'x5'x7' and was contemplating weather 3 600's would be to much i would have a Canfan 50 and a Canfan 6" HO 440 cfm inline pulling through the canfan50 and pushing through the 3 lights hoping i can fit it all in a line as to not loose any cfm. Would the fan be strong enough to cool the room and lights or would i be better of useing 2 600's? Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks

Even if it gets a little hot, I think you will be better off with 3 600s. Im thinking of doing the same set up. I would center the lights at 3 or 3.5' wide x 9' long

Thanks PB. Do you think a Canfan 6" HO 440 cfm will do for exausting and cooling or should i go with a bigger fan?

Well the fan in full speed could be adequate as long as you pull cold air from outside. The cooler the air that goes in the easier it is to cool things inside the tent/room.

A bigger fan/s would be better though for 3x600 but as long as you don't grow during the summer/hot season you will be fine. Make sure you match your carbon filter.

Thanks l33t.
I was surfin the net and found this Eclipse inline fan the 6" is rated at 630Cfm where all the others 6"ers ive seen run at 450Cfm max. Anyone useing this fan?

Well its just one the turbo versions of the 6'' fans . these can be really loud , so its a good option unless you have probs with sound. In this case I 'd personally rather get a 8" with that ~600 cfm rating and even adjust the speed down with a speed controller.

Can i just say i have both setup's and out of the 1200 tent i pulled 922 grams and the 1800 tent 941 grams, oh and the 1800 setup was in 90litre tubs the other 25 litre

Thanks good info Standaman.
So Sandaman what are you using for a scrubber and fans?

Standaman - Everything else was identical? Plant Count? Everything?

That just doesn't sound right...

I would have gone with the 3 without thinking twice.. As long as you can move enough air...

Same strain same plant count 4
1200 tent was Genesis 3 part, Metrop Amino Bloom, and Cha ching veg 5 weeks flowered 53 days

1800 tent was Vitalink A&B veg and bloom,. Hammerhead and Bud XL Veg 5 weeks flowered 56 days

And that is the truth

if u had used the genesis in the 1800 i think the results may have been more ,genesis really does make the yield better

So you use Genesis yourself too? I love the stuff and it's very simple.
Well thats what i tried to tell my friend but as its in his house he was adamant about his nutes( they are cheap and shit IMO)

i would do 3x600 with a bigger fan and filter combo. instead of the eclipse, you can also use an 8" fan with 8"->6" reducers. the 8" fan will provide much better airflow and allow you to use a bigger filter for better odor control if you have stinky strains.
