Just entering week 8 of flower. Over the last couple weeks most buds are getting new growth on them. Right out of the top of the flower. The second is a couple leaves have BUDS growing on them!!! Weird!

the first pic is called fox tailing. it can happen with high temps in some strains, others its just genetic. as for the leaf bud, ive only seen them a few times and all were on subs gear.

btw, whats the strain?

thats weird.... does your room have any light leaks?

Strain is Grand Daddy Purple.

never seen it on that strain but sub uses the urkle clones and i believe urkle and gdp are related so one may assume this bud leaf thing is a hereditary mutation. someone correct me if im wrong about the gdp and urkle.

as far as the foxtailing, I'VE never seen it in gdp in grow any logs so it may be environmental. also most strains that ive seen that were genetically foxtailers were usually high yeilders foxtailing everywhere. id check the tems first, then nute strength, remember the hotter your temps the colder(strength) your nutes should be and start from there.

not bad but youll get her dialed in soon enough.

Looks to me like the lights are a little close. What is your lighting and how close it is to the tops?

yup this, idea that may support the tailing due to high temps. so im assuming the foxtailing is just at the tops huh. it just may be the micro environment the light is producing when within a certain distance( high heat, low humidity)

Lights are 1x 1000MH @ 1x1000HPS. They are a bit close to some I agree but they are on a circle so they move. Unfortunately, they are as high as they can get and the canopy so thick it's difficult to get all of them out of the path of the lights. Been tying branches for days as they have been lying down from the weight of the flowers on such skinny branches.

No, actually the foxtailing is all over, not just the tops.

Temps r in the 70's
RH 50's- 60's
2000 watts on a circle, pass as close as 8 inches to some
girls are about 5-1/2- 6 feet tall(not counting the pot)
nutes have been lowered to 500's

They are not as big as I expected them to be by now. For some reason they just have not been eating like they should ever since the flip. They were feeding well at 1000-11000 ppm during veg but, since the flip they don't even eat all the food in the water they drink. At 1000-1100 ppm they would drink about 12 gals a day and the ppm's in the remaining res water would drop a little. Since the flip, they drink only about 6 gals a day and with ppm's only in the 500's, the ppm's in the remaing res water goes up a bit. 10-40 ppm rise.

Well I don't have any experience with the circle light mover so I can't say. If you wanted to be sure then I would say get a laser thermometer and check the temps of the leaves and such.

As for the not eating and drinking, that is another clue that they are stressed. Now you just have to find out whats doing it.
