I’m so out of space right now. I need to flip asap. My 2x4 is absolutely stuffed. 5x5 is already 4 weeks in flower. The other 2x4 has seedlings going. It’s going to get real interesting in about 6 weeks.

@Newty and Natep wonder if a flip window could work? Thats up to mike and im not trying to complicate it. Im only thinking of what I suggested and not how it would effect anything after that lol. Honestly Natep I think you could remain in the comp if you need to make the flip for your entire situation. It’s all for fun man, talk to Mike : ) im good with however it works out, definitely here for the friends and experience : ) dont jeopardize your entire grow : ) I vote for Natep to be able to flip now and remain in the comp!

@Herbies_Seeds ......question for you.....

Which light am I placing the Girl Scout Cookies under? LED or HPS? I'll let you decide......or I could place it 50/50, but then it wouldn't have the height.......

@Mikedin .......this is such a great idea!! This challenge.....

It definitely puts a little perspective in my area....I'm running outta room because of the changes I've made....for better or worse, my plants are taking over my backroom.....looking for the tiniest space to put plants....awesome!! Keeping me on my toes......

Thank you Mike!!

I'm dealing with bugs for the first time.

Fungus gnats stand no chance against me and my diatomaceous earth.

She was sleeping last night, but here she is awake now. Easier to see the branches. I think she will straighten out over the next couple days since she's less cluttered now.

Soon it's time for upper canopy LST to spread it out a bit and give the branches more support for flower. Likely a quasi scrog situation.

Did you just sprinkle it on top? Or did you mix it?

I was actually thinking for the first time and turned my fan off before I applied....could have been questionable.

I laid in on top and used a plastic dart to try and rake it in a bit. Will probably work it in more before the next watering.

The gnats didn't seem to be doing any damage but it was prolly a good call to do something.

I give clones to a friend and had to warn him of the situation, accept clones at own risk.

Haha I will be sure to turn off my fans before I inhale micro glass thanks for the tip . Ok bet imma do the same. Gonna go to Lowe’s and get some de. I need it for the bag of soil that was infected with pests anyways. Definitely better to be proactive I agree. I’m probably gonna use de from now on in my grows. Haven’t been gifted any clones yet but sounds fun lmaoo definitely have a chance of some cross contamination there.

This gallon grow has been a blast.

Can we do a shallow pan grow for the next one?

A bunch of bonsai trees

An inch of perlite on top of your medium, sprinkle the DE on the perlite, the gnats have to crawl though it to get in or out of the pot… aka… dead

Plus huge silica boost I usually mix in about 1/4 cup right in my medium mix at up pots for a 5 gallon pot

Also it needs to stay dry to be effective that’s why I use the perlite on top then the DE it separates it from the dirt and won’t absorb the water
