They're definitely worth it, being able to move the branch out of the way of another and expose the plant to more light earlier is a game changer. Those mind of clips have been on my "expendable money" wishlist..... so far down on my wishlist, but so cheap that I'll probably be picking some up within the year
for sure, def something that will be in my arsenal sooner than later! They're definitely worth it, being able to move the branch out of the way of another and expose the plant to more light earlier is a game changer.
Wire can help with early lst but I think the clips do a much better job and little to no adjustments over time.
I dont quite understand your “regularly vegging” question. Like perpetual grow time vs just vegging a single run and giving them ample time? : ) I think those clips though are a great thing though and I they are the trick alsoHow long do you plan on regularly vegging? Those clips and a little longer veg might just do the trick
These are the ones I have. I had originally told Newty I didnt like them, I have since changed my mind and would recommend them, but with that said im sure their are just a little bit more ideal clips then the ones I have : ) https://a.co/d/8tXFRSnThose mind of clips have been on my "expendable money" wishlist..... so far down on my wishlist, but so cheap that I'll probably be picking some up within the year
Im absolutely blown away at some of the plants that are in this comp ( its the growers and their amazing ability) its been a humbling experience to say the least hahahah!!!!for sure, def something that will be in my arsenal sooner than later!
Still kicking myself for falling behind life and not getting in the 1gal challenge. Trying to catch up on the submission thread and you guys are killing it!
I looked on Amazon countless times and just couldn't get myself to buy any of them, everything just looked cheap. These are the ones I have. I love update day and seeing all the growers killing it!Im absolutely blown away at some of the plants that are in this comp ( its the growers and their amazing ability) its been a humbling experience to say the least hahahah!!!!
Those extensions are badass!I looked on Amazon countless times and just couldn't get myself to buy any of them, everything just looked cheap.
I found mine on Etsy, the shop even sold extension bars for them.
Unfortunately they don't have the large size in stock anymore, if they did I would highly recommend buying them.
The small ones are not a great size for cannabis, unless you used them really early or on lower/thinner branches.
Since you like the ones you have, I'll keep them in mind in case I need more.

It’s been in front of me this entire time, i just failed to see it! I have noticed since the start of this comp im able to start and veg some plants in smaller containers! I think what happens is “im just an asshole who cant sweet talk the princess” hahahaI love update day and seeing all the growers killing it!
I think a lot of us were expecting huge obstacles with a small pot but honestly for me it's not been much different then growing in my 3 gallon pots.
The coat hangers for the tent walls and your wooden rods for your plant are both genius! It's Tuesday! So, I think all I've done recently is some light defoliation.
Oh yeah, go for it! The wooden dowels help a bit for LST when she gets wide. The coat hangers for the tent walls and your wooden rods for your plant are both genius!
I'll be borrowing your techniques if you don't mind
Love it!
Not my question but there is a whole page almost of “hot key” type coding in one of the “rules and regs” pages(try looking in the forum standards and rules. It shows you how to change the size and color. It may be in that section, but I dont know exactly where I saw it.@Graham.Bagg
If you don't mind sharing your secrets,
How did you make that "Spoiler: Setup" button you have in your submission posts?
I've not seen anyone use anything like it on the forum and it would be a good way to keep diary and other post cleaned up but still have all the info about the grow so no one has to go back to previous posts to find the information.
However you did it, great idea!
@Newty, gladly my kind sir.If you don't mind sharing your secrets
you can also use the code on
the forum to just
type it out
the spoiler command is
body of mesdage here
Shoot Dang, I got some catching up to do.Not my submission day so I’ll post some pics here
Time to bring out the special sauce, not sure what it is yet but I got to throw down.Shoot Dang, I got some catching up to do.
Stretch is almost over, time to pack on that weight!

Click the 3 vertical dots next to the insert picture icon

That will bring up a sub menu, click on the eye with a slash, from there it will bring up a box to enter the “title” (mine is “setup”), then you enter the body, which will be hidden behind the button.
Code:you can also use the code on the forum to just type it out the spoiler command is
body of mesdage here
If it is something that you will reuse often, then you can type it out once, then “select all”—>copy—> paste to note, then just copy your note at top of every post.

Do you use a model 69 controller? I run a small oil radiant heater in my tents. Works really good.I lied! Lights are off at 8got the little heater I have plugged into a timer just to take the edge off until I get a decent source of heat.
I know the feeling. Plus mine is In The back of the tent so it makes it even more difficult lol. I figure I’ll take some good pics before harvest after removing the net.Not much to report. Netting makes for terrible pictures.
