They're definitely worth it, being able to move the branch out of the way of another and expose the plant to more light earlier is a game changer.
Wire can help with early lst but I think the clips do a much better job and little to no adjustments over time.

How long do you plan on regularly vegging? Those clips and a little longer veg might just do the trick
Click to expand...
I dont quite understand your “regularly vegging” question. Like perpetual grow time vs just vegging a single run and giving them ample time? : ) I think those clips though are a great thing though and I they are the trick also

I really need to get my timing down! My current run are cuttings from months ago!! Like waaaay long lol! I took them in march or April maybe? They sat on the kitchen counter for so long just lanking alonghahaha! Im going to try my hand at a quality but “shorter” veg to try and get a perpetual type thing going. My shed is ALMOST done so that will allow me to cater to the flower side as much as the veg side (im entering that realm but still not there. If I cant get my current seeds going healthy im flipping them as soon as all my current XXs are done flowering : ) not sure if that at all makes sense outside of my brain but it does hahaha!

I looked on Amazon countless times and just couldn't get myself to buy any of them, everything just looked cheap.
I found mine on Etsy, the shop even sold extension bars for them.
Unfortunately they don't have the large size in stock anymore, if they did I would highly recommend buying them.
The small ones are not a great size for cannabis, unless you used them really early or on lower/thinner branches.

Since you like the ones you have, I'll keep them in mind in case I need more.

I love update day and seeing all the growers killing it!

I think a lot of us were expecting huge obstacles with a small pot but honestly for me it's not been much different then growing in my 3 gallon pots.

It’s been in front of me this entire time, i just failed to see it! I have noticed since the start of this comp im able to start and veg some plants in smaller containers! I think what happens is “im just an asshole who cant sweet talk the princess” hahaha

Im either going to try and go with smaller fabric pots like 2 gal or I may even try smaller plastic pots like Capt.

I also come to the realization that indoor is nothing like outdoor and the experience I have with it (limited at best) but damn that was a hard one to see lol. Im getting there slowly but surely. Just tootling along learning and “feeling” the craft : )

The coat hangers for the tent walls and your wooden rods for your plant are both genius!
I'll be borrowing your techniques if you don't mind
Love it!

@Graham.Bagg

If you don't mind sharing your secrets ,
How did you make that "Spoiler: Setup" button you have in your submission posts?

I've not seen anyone use anything like it on the forum and it would be a good way to keep diary and other post cleaned up but still have all the info about the grow so no one has to go back to previous posts to find the information.
However you did it, great idea!

Not my question but there is a whole page almost of “hot key” type coding in one of the “rules and regs” pages(try looking in the forum standards and rules. It shows you how to change the size and color. It may be in that section, but I dont know exactly where I saw it.

@Newty, gladly my kind sir.

I use an IPhone on mobile, so your screen may be slightly different.

Click the 3 vertical dots next to the insert picture icon

That will bring up a sub menu, click on the eye with a slash, from there it will bring up a box to enter the “title” (mine is “setup”), then you enter the body, which will be hidden behind the button.

Code:
you can also use the code on
the forum to just
type it out

the spoiler command is
[spoiler=TITLE]

body of mesdage here

[/spoiler]

If it is something that you will reuse often, then you can type it out once, then “select all”—>copy—> paste to note, then just copy your note at top of every post.

I lied! Lights are off at 8 got the little heater I have plugged into a timer just to take the edge off until I get a decent source of heat.

Do you use a model 69 controller? I run a small oil radiant heater in my tents. Works really good.

I know the feeling. Plus mine is In The back of the tent so it makes it even more difficult lol. I figure I’ll take some good pics before harvest after removing the net.
