I have some Landrace going out as well but that's not for a while. These autos I can keep out on the porch during the day and move them in at night for more light until mid March.Little early for me, yet. Still have 8-10" of snow on the ground. And a month before I pop beans.
But so far I'm looking forward to Skunk#1 and Capt's, Cali blue, from seed. Frostett, and C99 from clones. Thanks to Crazyforms.
Not sure how the C99 will hold up, my understanding is it has a low mold tolerance when grown outdoors, so maybe it'll go in a pot, then I can move it inside the garage
when needed.
Hmm...living soil outdoor grow.
Gonna need a bit more attention being in a container, I suppose.
Plan to order some seed from Amnesia as well, so there will be a couple more beans getting popped.
Just can't decide what. Runtz, Afghani, Hindu kush, Lemon power haze, NL, or Kalini Asia.
Wished I had the room for all, I'd still be legal, but don't want to be stuck in trim hell for 4 months.
I lived near Fort Stauton for a bit and worked in Winchester. Snow hit I moved back to Texas.Glad to see the 2026 outdoor thread already up and running, thanks grayoldnproud. Nothing much going on here in Virginia yet.
Sorry wife corrected me this morning as they often do (that's ok I need it). It was Front Royal not Fort Staunton and she told me it's just Staunton and she said it was outside of Reliance???. She had to show me on a map. All I remember is the drive up the highway to Winchester and the Shenandoah valley was beautiful and coming from a flat lander, that says something. She is a Virginian born and raised so I'll take her word and it was 1986 so I'll definitely take her word.I lived near Fort Stauton for a bit and worked in Winchester. Snow hit I moved back to Texas.
An ice storm last year took down my pvc hoop so I didn’t do it this year.
Look forward to seeing what you do.
Yes it's beautiful country over there in the valley. I'm on the other side of the mountains in Fredericksburg but have family in the Shenandoah valley so usually travel there a couple times a year. Great trout fishing in the Shenandoah River and love hiking in the mountains.Sorry wife corrected me this morning as they often do (that's ok I need it). That looks like mine right now LOL.Glad to see the 2026 outdoor thread already up and running, thanks grayoldnproud. Nothing much going on here in Virginia yet, just now starting to thaw out. Have a frozen compost pile that the birds and critters have been digging in and 200 gallons of reamended living soil under a tarp cooking, at least it will be when it warms up a little. And of course my destroyed greenhouse that needs to be replaced. Will be growing some landraces this year as well as some Okie crosses that did well here last year. My next indoor grow will start in a few weeks when a tent opens up and will probably be some Thia landraces that i will take some clones from for outdoor. Got a new air cloner for Christmas I'm dying to try out. So much to look forward to, come on spring!
I read this morning that it looks like you'll get an early spring with tenps up to 20F warmer than usual this week. That's a good thingLet's see how you react after a deep freeze. For us north coasters, this is a damn tropical heatwave. I bet if I go sit at the gas station, I'll see somebody with shorts on, today.
Mighty fine reading material there...mighty fine.
58 right meow. Warmer with rain tomorrow.I read this morning that it looks like you'll get an early spring with tenps up to 20F warmer than usual this week. That's a good thing
