Mr scattered thoughts here. I'm considering starting a stinky tent of Charlies Stank Ass, Smells of Uranus, Dirty Laundry and an as yet unlocated strain, Iranian Vomit Might fit right in. LOL

The iranian is a very cool plant. Me and some growmies have put this girl on anything that is long. She is a tasty plant solo too. Doc greenthumb did some great work with her. But unfortunately he cant seem to skirt the feds, so cant order seeds from them anymore. You wont get them. Canada takes them. And hes a little pricey. G13 is 200 for 5 beans. This company was great a few years ago. Not sure what happened.

But Afghani is a specific cultivar. One of the OG sisters from the Hindu Kush region of the Himalayas. The only other name it goes by is Afghan Kush.

Afgani means its from Afghanistan. The balkhi is afgani. The Hindu kush is afgani. The mazari sharif is afgani and some say could be pakistani. Its a big country many landrace strains come from.

That’s what I originally thought! But then did some googling and it seems Afghani, a.k.a. Afghan Kush is its own regional strain! Like what Durban is saying! No coverings this year? Maybe still working on that?

I've managed to get the major Ai's fighting over the best way to grow my weed. Thank God for this site.

Just recently I started thinking about my photos and whether or not the ones I'm taking are accurate depictions of the color. I took these today at sunrise before direct exposure and plan to get some later in shade during full sun for comparison. Looking at my plants too much in the sun, I start thinking they're too light green. I guess they're ok. Not sure how those autos are supposed to look at this stage.

Yes I've noticed pics don't always show the true color of plants, especially in bright light. But you're plants look good from what I can see.

A couple of weeks ago you said you lost some! Did you replace them? With photos? Autos?

Well between the 3 weeks of 95-99 degree I have lost quite a few ladies! Time to cut new clones. My autos, only 10 this year, are kicking ass! The heat gave them a boost, whereas my photos took a kick in the a$$! I think he was involved!
I hope all growmies are having great luck! Summer solstice is this Sunday!!

The 2 landraces i put in the veggie raised bed seem to have taken the move well. Really hoping the Napoli Highland is a female, hopefully it will take off and show sex now that it's in the ground. The Cretan is a female and keeps throwing out extra fingers on several leaves. Have seen pictures of this mutation before but never seen it on one of mine. Almost like she's giving me the finger everyone in the greenhouse looking good so far.

The ladies are roughly 3.5 to 4 weeks old. Topped 2 of them on Tuesday and 3 of them yesterday evening. I topped them above the 7th node and cut off the bottom 2 nodes to get them up off the ground a little. The only one I haven't touched yet is the Fruity Pebbles because she's not quite big enough yet.
In order of appearance.

Thank you, I hope so. I've noticed some folks on here definitely know how to photograph their plants on bright sunny days, but I haven't figured it out yet.

We got 6 plants going.

Afghani

Chemdog hash plant

Kalini Asia

Runtz

Northern lights

Lemon power haze.

All but the Chemdog are feminized seed from Zamnesia. Chemdog is from reg seeds. Popped 5, gotta 3 girls and 2 boys. Gifted 2 girls and kept one. Killed one male, took some pollen from the other. He's gone now too.

I topped them all before they went outside, just after mothers day.

Left side of garden

Right.

Always have the sun to your back, if possible. Or youll risk over exposure

My Mekong Laos(Thai) is doing the same on only one leaf. On the Nepali I had a couple fused leaflets giving me the Shooter McGavin.

The smoke for the next day or 2 is the GG4 Auto. Harvested in my backyard last October.
