Had to look back at my old posts to figure it out. Looks like the seeds popped around May 12, which makes them 6 weeks and 2 days old. Give or take a day or two.How old is this one
Cool mine was May 11. Yours looks to me a little more mature than mine.Had to look back at my old posts to figure it out. Looks like the seeds popped around May 12, which makes them 6 weeks and 2 days old. Give or take a day or two.
We've been getting rain pretty regularly, and temps in the upper 70s and lower 80s, so that helps . Last year was pretty dry by this time. I don't remeber much for rain till September, last year.Hoss your place is so nice and green
Nice tomatoes in the background too. They're looking happy so far.

Thanks. These cherry tomatoes are wild. Popped up one day mid spring and I just started taking care of it. Birds couldn't have picked a better spot to drop the seeds. The tomatoes on a couple of my other plants are starting to ripen. Also my little suburban corn field is looking happy as well. I've been busy this season. Lol.Nice tomatoes in the background too.

Yeah....Ohio ain't no joke about it's weather. I've had many come up here from Florida expecting relief, only to say there's no change in climate. The ladies have all greened up, just as some folks here said they would.
I'm a little nervous trying to manage the fast-version photos and autos on different timelines but doing the best I can.
They all received a nice amount of rain yesterday. We get Florida-like weather here in Ohio now.

I pulled my first one off the potato leafed (Brandywine) plants today. Just started blushing so I’ll finish it in the house. Lots of Roma and Pears getting close too.My tomatoes are coming along also, can't wait for that first BLT of the year. I lived in Vero Beach for a short while, and this weather right now in Ohio is exactly like it. I hated Florida.Yeah....Ohio ain't no joke about it's weather. I've had many come up here from Florida expecting relief, only to say there's no change in climate.
We are the north coast growers, brother.
I got over a month to go for tomatoes, yours are looking perfect!I pulled my first one off the potato leafed (Brandywine) plants today. Just started blushing so I’ll finish it in the house. Lots of Roma and Pears getting close too.
The Bradywine will darken a bit more but still be pinkish. This one is small but they get bigger.View attachment 2683909
Thanks and yours will probably be producing long after mine have played out. So there's that too.I got over a month to go for tomatoes, yours are looking perfect!
I would think you'd have no problem with fabric....it breaths. I'd be more worried about them drying out more than anything. Specifically in the next couple months when it gets really hot n humid.I lived in Vero Beach for a short while, and this weather right now in Ohio is exactly like it. I hated Florida.
Not sure how much I can let it rain on these fabric pots, so I'm trying to give them some protection when possible. It's really difficult when it goes from a sprinkle to a downpour in seconds, followed by sunshine and a f'n rainbow a few seconds later.
