I am looking for green lacewing eggs for mostly thrips and aphids and right now see Arbico looks like a choice. Does anyone have a good source for outdoor pest predators they can recommend?

I've used nature's good guys once before for nematodes. They seem like a good people.

I like Evergreen Growers Supply, located in Clackamas, Oregon, they know the insect world and have helped me many times.
I think the closest vendor you can find may be of some value if you are relying on shipping and there’s a delay then what you receive may not be in great condition.
Good luck

PS have you tried Cucumeris mites for thrips?
They are inexpensive and seem to help with control at different life stages of thrips. I generally use a packet per plant plus a few on the perimeter of my plants

I haven't. I haven't had much of a need until this year. But was reading up on them today as a matter of fact. Thx!

This early in the year, it’s going to get kind of expensive if you have to keep reapplying! Have you just tried blasting them with water?

Sure have and on a couple plants that's an easy fix for some bugs. I need them for rows of plants and I'm not seeing me do that since I use rain water and would have to hook up the pump and hoses and drag them about. I'm too lazy.

Thought you had a well! Spend away! From what I’ve seen, they always come back outdoors! All I hope to do is control them at least till flower! Then I would consider lacewing larva! And yeah, it does require a little work but not much! Sounds like your veggies are getting it too! Good luck! Old timer! go Spurs! Another relatively inexpensive option is 50% 99.9 iso and 50% water in your sprayer! Iso is about 35 bucks a gallon! Just something to chew on!

I do have a well but I don't use water from it to water the gardens. I collect rain water for that.

And that's the point. They are ravaging me this year. Yes, talking veggies too. I think the cooler nights a while back threw them into a frenzy.

Oh, I see! Well, water is good enough for you but not good enough for your plants! My bad! Hang in there, brother! Maybe it’s time to rethink your principles before it gets out of hand any worse! At least for your pot plants!

Nah but in a drought for a couple years makes you rethink your "principles" and priorities. Have you seen what it costs to dig a well lately? Holy shit, sell your kids and mortgage the farm.

Garden is banging along. Done training, branches are just too stiff at this point. Won't be long before the big cages get set up around the plants

This one's going nuts, with 10" vertical branching already. Outpacing the rest by a large margin.

I transplanted a bunch of aloe pups the other day and this evening I was walking by and saw this guy looking back at me. It's made itself right at home. I've noticed toad poop in the greenhouse a few times now I know where it's coming from. Free pest control.

If you have a decent aloe plant, you can fillet it and scrape the clear shit out and throw it in a blender with water and blend it up and dump it on the plants! It’s good shit, Maynard!

Yeah, that's the main reason I grow it. Aloe fpj for my living soil.
