Looking good. I was half assed expecting Green Acres to start playing in the background.Weekend update.
Garden is running strong. Sprayed with Neem last night, tilled soil surface in preparation for this afternoon rains, by breaking that hard surface for better absorbsion and less run off.

The way these plants are growing this year....kinda scares me, but in a good way. I just hope the beans catch up to them, cause their becoming more n more visible to passerbys every day. Not that there's much of a window to look thru, driving @ 35 mph, as most do. But I'll sleep better once the edible hide a crop has them covered.

Scorched earth policy. Nothing lives, but what I want alive. It attracts slugs in my parts. I got plenty to share...if ya interested, that and earwigs n stinkbugs.Ya man, looking great…they’re gonna take off…You don’t mulch at all?

I have plenty of slugs myself, and they do love the wood chip mulch…in fact I set out a beer trap hoping to catch a bunch, went out the next day to check…turns out my dog likes beer lol.Scorched earth policy. Need a groundhog....racoon (s)
Not that I really need to, but I actually like Johnson grass for that very reason. It's a big assed grass that screams of neglect. Grow a couple patches at selected vantage points and yout weed patch will look disused and abandoned. No one looks at unorganized spaces. Visually your vision is designed to pick up patterns. Adding random wildness to the mix further scrambles the vision of 99% of people.Weekend update.

Hoss, we must not be too far distant. We had a good local rain that made the ladies jumpNot that I really need to, but I actually like Johnson grass for that very reason. Another reason why I like J.Grass. it's got deep burrowing roots that break up compacted soil. I suspect those roots also bring up minerals that have been leached from top soils and it's a pest so I'm constantly supplied with straw mulch.
BTW, I used to hate Johnson Grass.
Not my vision. I notice weed plants and potential places that make a good grow site…put them together and I see weed plants!…Visually your vision is designed to pick up patterns. Adding random wildness to the mix further scrambles the vision of 99% of people…
I'm same way. Seen one growing out of a kids sand box, last year. Even had toys scattered around, too .Not my vision. I notice weed plants and potential places that make a good grow site…put them together and I see weed plants!
Can't count the amount of times when I was younger smoking that Mexican brick weed that random plants would just start growing by the train tracks where me and my friends used to get high and just toss the seeds.I'm same way.
