Hello!
My first grow was also hydro and it went pretty well. Obviously I already have a mentor, but what's your oppinion about the humidity?

1st picture is when duct fan is off and 2nd one when it's on. It's cycle is 15/15 mins.

Lamp is 600W hps with 12/12h cycle.

Tent is 3x3 and I'm planning to get leds for the next grow so guess 420W is more than enough.

All tips are welcome, thank you.

Love it seein HPS grows still. If i had a big open area i'd be using it. I'm in a 3x3 have a 250watt LED works fine for my personal home grows. I only run 2 photos or 4 autos at a time in it. These fellas here got the newest and are most knowledgeable of the LEDs. I think most of the new ones have dials to 0-100% it's a must for me mine has one. These lights are powerful and sunlike.

HPS for the win! I also love seeing this. I used to grow in my closet with two 150w home depot driveway specials.

Put aside the humidity for a min because 31Β° is on the really hot side to be having an exhaust fan off for 15 minutes. The unit is also really close to the light and that could be skewing the reading because the temp does not fluctuate.

I would move that unit around the tent and see what kind of readings it gives you in different places, especially at canopy level. My gut tells me it's just in the wrong spot.

I see that the rh goes up with the fan on but that could be a stratified air issue. Especially in flower, the more CFM of air exchange the better in my opinion.

I couldn't edit my post so The pictures went wrong way around. RH is under 50% and temp 30C when the duct fan is on. Guess I just need to keep the duct fan on at day time and 15min per hour at night time.

I was just thinking that My CO2 pouch doesn't really have any purpose if the fan is always on.

Yeah I would keep the fan on and don't waste money on the pouches. Humidity that high is a dangerous game in flower mode plus the fluctuations greatly increase the chance for powdery mildew.

I totally understand why you want the CO2 if you are running that hot, but do you have to run that hot?

No there's no need to run it that hot, but it's a 600W bulb in a small tent. I also have a 400W one, but I think increasing the air exchange will solve these problems. Can't really keep a window open during winter.

Are you venting to outside or into other ducts? What about intake air? How does the tent get fresh?

The pipe goes to bathroom but not directly to house's ventilation. For intake there's small vent in the window frame. Not ideal but the tent is in it's own room and is not that isolated from rest of the apartment so it somewhat works.
