Was probably drunk posting . My question is I have 1 120w qb288 board . I want to know if I could use the one web board and the other 2 lights I have to get a good yeild . My area is a 2x4x6 . 3 plants atm the other light is an 800w cob which I’m sure is only probably a 200w . And another no name blurp . Maybe push’s a 100w .

If you've got enough PAR you can get a good harvest, but that's all subjective. Sounds like you've got enough light. Why not throw it together and try...

Not the best set up but it’s my first grow collecting things I need for a better grow. Only have the two in for now till I can see how I can fit a third .

How’s the light output of the quantum compared to the burple? What brand burple is that?

Not a brand got it off wish ( I know ). Supposed to be an 800w cob . Qb is pretty damn bright . Cob fixture is almost near but not as strong .

Very nice. I’m looking into various grow light solutions is why I ask. Been seeing a lot if strip leds lately and quantum boards are very similar.

Yea I like the qb it puts off little heat . Has blinding power . When I finished plugging it up . I accidentally blinded myself. Had imprint of the board stick in my vision for several minutes . The bigger “cob” puts off more heat but plants seem to like it .

Thats the fun of this thing man! Build it as you go and it just keeps growing. You can always add new stuff and make things easier on yourself and your plants.

JWM2, Check out Cree COBs. Easy to set up. Tons of power and really good spectral distribution curve. The 3000k 90CRI have the best spectrum of any single light that I've seen. It's got it in all the right places and if you go through a place like Rapid LED they've got all the drivers, heatsinks, and rails to get up and running quickly.

You need to drop that 288qb waaaay down. I ran mine really high first time around. Now I keep them 7”-10” once they have good roots. Drop the light and watch them explode

Was worried of the small younger ones . Think tiny girls would get light burn ? I moved it down earlier today after re wiring . Or should I boost my big girl on something to get closer than baby’s? . I have it on max with dimmer . Do I dil more and boost ?

This is how my last round with the qbs finished.

I would suggest buying a multimeter display and then you can look at your output in real time. Super cheap. I run these. You can turn the display off if you decide to have it mounted in the tent. I have mine outside with the potentiometer (dimmer).

Will look into .first grow . Getting things under my feet before I can help someone else . I dropped it more . I dropped it earlier today when you saw the pics . First installed I didn’t add extra wires . Have it lowered by half .maybe 2 feet or less above my tallest . Will re wire again to be able to adjust tomorrow. If I have a 2x4 would another 288 120w be fine for this flower tent ? Since I lowered today the little ones leaves haven’t purked down . Did some more lst on my biggest and she don’t look to happy .
