On the 10th I fed food at 700 PPM of flora series. They have never had any hard chems like 0-50-30 ever. Also for the last month they got HALF of the recommended nitrogen.

Then the 11th Clearex and harvest on the 14th due to 2 inches of rain tomorrow!

My plants are 9 foot tall and 30 to 40 foot around so I think they must be using up every thing very fast.

i read people are 50/50 on flushing iv always flushed a week and at times accidental stressed them for 2 weeks with no food.

I hit them with lots of molasses and cleaex a few times.
Run off is still 500 ppm, my leafs are healthy and starting to fade and some are just in necrosis.
I talked to a the GH rep and he said in 300 gallon pots filled with minerals its pretty hard to flush the nutrients when its absoutley soaked with organics and chems in the root zone.

Also I had only fed my plants two times in 10 days.
Either way I cant risk mold so we pulling in the rain.

This is a great example of how difficult it is to measure organic molecules using EC. And how on earth are you measuring run-off in big-ass pots like that? You must have to use a qualified metric shit-ton of water, eh? Are you familiar with the slurry method? You may want to consider getting growing answers from growers rather than sales reps, too. Not dissing sales reps, but they're not my first go-to here, especially hydro types. (Sorry to my hydro bros and sisters, but I know you know exactly where I'm coming from!)

great big huge puddle of run off ? Jammed the probe right into water and every time it was 500ppm.
"roughly"

I think the GH guy is pretty much right on, how can you even begin to flush heavily amended organic soil?
when I had it lab tested it came back as "High organic matter" then I jammed it even more full with minerals and bat shit.

In reality over the last TWO weeks they got fed about 80% less (ratio not amounts of nutrients) and 65% of PPM from 1000PPM to 700PPM TWO TIMES.

So whats next a volcano burn to check for flavor?

Here's the issue you have with your method--you cannot accurately measure organic molecules using electrical conductivity. I won't even begin to try to say that I know what causes harsh burn, but I personally am of the belief that when using organic sources, including minerals/rock dusts, there is no need to try to flush that away from the plant's roots. What gives smooth flavor? I'm wondering if it's more in the genetics than anything else. Honestly I have no idea.

But I will say this! Those look like some heavily Sativa dominant plants and I want. :p

This will be my first ever non 14 day flush. Everything did swell up FAT in the last 2 weeks of getting well fed.
I cant say I "flushed" I more of "Tapered off" from 6 agressive feedings a week down to nothing for a week but molassis and then two mild feedings the last week. And it was not a full week of no food more like 3 solid days of nothing but water.

I have my curing down to a science also. More props to curing then anything I hope.

Agreed! I am a fan of the tapering method as well. :) Super jelly of those girls!
