In a in-door grow a person has to decide : More space for more plants or less space for bigger plants. I'm setting grow cycles for 4 harvests per year (about a 3 month cycle) and grow shed that's 8x12x8 with a sealed, stabled Geo-Thermal set up that's 97% environmentally controlled and L.E.D. lighting system. I'm torn between the choice of more plants VS. bigger plants so I come to you our readers for experienced and most efficient advice, please help!!!

I tried to do big plants inside once, it was a disaster. Not the least of the issues had to do with accessibility. I can't move around 10gal pots of soil. 3gals are my limit.

More plants, than harvest can be uniform. Big plants take up room, especially after harvest . 1 month worth of vegging? Sounds good to me. But the month of veg may be too long. Cuttings or seed?
monstercropped clones is what i run

I did 4 plants a light in 20 gallon pots and averaged 8#'s on a 4 light room. I ran the same room with 36 plants, 9 per light in 5 gallon nursery pot (really like 3 gallon) and hit the same number. Other then veg time the dirt cost way more in big pots. 80 gallons of dirt per light in big pots vs 36 gallons per light in small pots. Anyhow, I see no difference in yeild, just the cost of coco, perlite, and electricity

Hmmmmm? That's honestly how stoned this morning I am. I have no thoughts. But I'll be back. Yard work

I think it's more about how efficiently the room captures light.
I like to see a dark floor and a well trimmed under-story.
Each plant gets a wrap of string to suppress plants from stealing light from their neighbor.

3 gallon pots is where I come down.
