Im using a handheld microscope but would like something a little easier to use. Is a 30x loupe good enough to see trichomes clearly?

And why not magnifying glass instead of loupe?

Ive got a 30x and 60x, i find it easier to see through the 30x but the 60x definitely shows a lot more detail.

Agree I also have a 30/60x loupe and the 30 is good enough.

I’ve had mine since 1979 a present from my father after becoming a 1 st year horticulturist. I use it daily it’s always in my pocket next to my grafting knife . Od ,

If you're still young and have sharp eyes a 30× might be okay but if you were a little older you might need a little stronger at least I do
