I am starting a grow log with my tiny tent.
1 autopot with reservoir
1 4 inch filtration system
1 tent 20 x 36 x 62 inches
200 watts of vero light (2 x 100 watt vero fixture).
Running either white rhino or cheese or kushy kush

I will veg it out to fill the canopy.

I will use GH nutes

I will use a 3 inch net square to scrog out the plant.

When the dust settles this will be my veg tent and I will do a perpetual garden in the 4 x 4. Max 4 plants all day long.

It is my timber fixture Model 2VL (2 x 100 vero29). The very bottom is the autopot which will feed the plant. I will put a 13 gallon reservoir outside of the tent.

I will turn it around on the next pic. And a wee single plant. Well we shall see about that. I am aiming for a big single plant. 6 oz in 1 plant in this tent with this setup is the goal ;)

I forgot to mention growing in coco-hydroton mix. I might add a layer of rockwell cubes to use the damned things up :o

Bean was dropped (King Tut). I changed to a more heavily sativa strain to scrog it. And I really like King Tut. All that remains is replacing my light timer and hooking up the carbon scrubber. I have time for that later. And I filled up 8, 5 gallon containers. I love my RO machine.

What is up with my random luck....I did not measure for this tent but it fits in the intended spot with not 1mm of room. Same as my 4 x 4. That tent is exactly the right size. I have been very lucky.

In bad news my panasoic whisper can not hook up to a fan controller. I have to move that cheapo loud fan into my closet. Time to make an insulated box so I can sleep.

I decided to also pop 2 trainwreck and 1 jack herer. I am about 3 weeks away from harvest and they can start vegging in the small tent and move to the 4 x 4 after harvest is complete.. Sour Diesel will wait until next round. :D

1 king tut, 1 jack herer and 2 train wreck. All 4 seeds popped. We have life in the tent. I whipped up a 1 gallon bottle of 2ml grow micro 1ml calmag and bioroot to get things moving along.

I think I have purchased my last upgrade. My fan noise was pissing me off and the total volume of this tent is only 20 cubic feet. I bought a 500VA Variac transformer. The thing is a wee bit bigger than the old one and cost 100 bucks but what a difference. The sound almost vanished completely when it is on low. I can tweak it exactly now and if the fan is pushing 189 CFU and the tent is 20 CF I can run it at about 10% of full power. I will play with it to get the temp just right.
I will take a pic later. I am very impressed with the difference. The fan stopped humming and will last a lot longer now (and no blown motor risk like the cheap controller).

I didnt even know what a veriac was and then i found out on riu. It is the shit. I love it to death and i can sleep in my bedroom now with the fan running. It is a cheap fan that is now a whisper. And the fire hazard is gone. The way a cheap fan controller works is stupid and you use full power. My 87 watt 4 inch fan runs at 87 watts on low with a fan controller and 23 watts at 1/4 power on the veriac.

I might buy another veriac for my big tent. I run it full blast but slowing it down sure helps the scrubber work. GD Cheese is loud as fuck on the stairs.

In other breaking news......

I have 1 autopot loaded with 2 inches of hydro clay pellets and 50-50 coco perlite ready to go. The babies doubled in size last night and it was time.

I will transplant the tut (or maybe a train wreck) and plant the other 3 into 1/2 gallon pots in a week. I have to finish the WR and cheese and they are about 2 weeks out. This will buy me 1 more week when they fill the solo cups :D

One other problem with an actual closet grow (A tent in a closet). The heat is a bit more than i expected. To solve the problem I was able to vent the scrubbed air into a furnace intake. I turned the timber down to about 60% power and I will play with the fan speed now and see how it goes. I might have to make an air intake into the closet as well to cool it down. But the babies are coming along in spite of the heat.
The tent as at 31 degrees C (88F) this morning. Once the light is back on I can see what the difference is. I think I saved 2 or 3 degrees C and if I can get it to 80F as the max I will be a happy camper. :D

Problem solved. I am now at 25.5 degrees C at full light. Back to 77F and I can live with that. And my closet is not like an oven anymore :D woo hoo

Looking better in there. I turned on the reservoir. A couple of more days of top feed and the tut is going to grow off of the autopot completely.

Agreed! I dig my Variac. Complete fan control, 0 to full power. Great for managing airflow to regulate temp and humidity.

Your grow is looking good!
