currently I have a sf1000 and use 4x 23w CFL's in the cornors
It works OK but I know more light means more yield.

I kinda narrowed it down to two solutions.
on is 2x mars SP150.
Tun them about 5-8 inches from each side and my sf1000
in the center.

or
one of below with my sf1000

I like the idea of two sp150's but they are thicker
and use Epistar diodes.
I also like the fact growlights light is basically a hlg260 knockoff
with a meanwell hlg driver and samsung diodes.

anyone using SP150's ? they seem OK on youtube.
to bad they didn't have a rebate make my decision easier...lol

Have had the ts1000 for about a month. No complaints so far other than I wish I'd have gotten another 240W lm301b in 4-5000 Kelvin instead lol She handles veg in a 3x3 area perfectly though.

Yup, mine is a HLG meanwell driver. Best you can get at the moment. I believe spider farmer uses meanwell. The ts1000 does not but several of their other boards do.

I think you made the right choice. But instead of a whole new light just order the 2 boards they can be swapped out fast for veg and flower and would be a lot cheaper

But I'm with you on 3k if your gonna run full grow.

well pretty sure i'm gonna go with the growlights latest version with the HLG driver,
debated on getting a sf2000 cause my sf1000 works pretty well.
then i noticed that sf2000 only runs at 180w at 120v so F that.
i do like the sp150 package but seems silly to buy lesser quality for same money.

I ordered the SF2000 from Alibaba for $240. Saved about 100 but it is on a slow boat. Luckily I wont need until the fall. Very excited.

nice lite, think you would have to dim considering the recommended height is 2 to 3 feet dont leave
a lot of growing room in a 6 foot high tent.
dimmed down to 350 could probably go to 16 inches.
im shooting for 350w but more is better for sure especially
if you can dim
