4 weeks 4 days mpb 1 plant is stressed

Walked in right before lights off, noticed one of the girls has weak, droopy leaves. It is the only one getting hit with 4 sides. ppm at 1350, im at 4 wks, 4 days right now. The other plants look fine, some have sides of leaves curled upwards. It looks like drought but don't see how. Should I do a res change a few days early and cut back the nutes? Should I use h2o2 just in case?

they look like u over watered them or theres no air circulation gettin through the plant. good looking girl though what is it? look like super lemon haze

thats root rot bro, you need to dump your res right now and refill with water and add 1 tbsp of bleach per 80 gallons of water,
and run your system and also hand water the tops of everyplant and make sure they get completely soaked. run that for 5hrs,
drain and refill again with plan water and add 1tbsp bleach per 80gallon and run it again for 5-10 hrs. dump that res refill with water and add 1tbsp bleach per 100gallon and also add 3ml per gal of sm-90,
using that water to resoak your plants upper bucket. after a day you can add some light nutes 500ppm for two days to see how things respond

this is a serious problem, how to your roots look? you might need to yank this plant to save your harvest

If you want to try to save it you could disconnect the MPB and fill the minires with coco and tons of bennies. At least that way the Pythium will not spread from tub to tub....

dizzle, thanks bro. no, i havn't looked at the roots yet...should i cut out the topfeed at this point? gonna empty the system now, and look at roots. what do u think abt the h2o2 approach? should i drop restemps lower?at 65/67 brb

I like h202 but I couldnt tell you what rate to run it at to actually kill pythium, I know the rate will bleach,

drained the res, filling back up now..gonna add bleach and run to grab some sm-90 and some h2o2 in case. cut the topfeeds and airlines.

you can keep the airlines going, how did the roots look?

mix your bleach with a gallon of water before adding it to the res, make sure and hand water all your plants to completely soak the medium with the clean rez water with the bleach in it so you can kill all the pythium in the entire medium

keep the topfeed off you dont need it

just got back, got the sm-90. havn't been able to look at the roots yet, need someone to hold up the cage while i lift it up. b4 i left i filled system w/ about 80 gals and added the bleach directly.. now im gonna drain/fill in 2 hrs again...in 4 1/2 hrs is my lights on...should i only have a couple lights on? at what point do i remove that plant from the system if things don't improve? should i add the multizen tonite? thx again bro. i've been in crisis mode since i walked in there this morn.

Just hold the cage onto the lids and pop her open. You only need to crach it open 3 inches to see whats going on. You need to check those roots every 5-7 days at least. :)

yup...checked em out. they are pretty damn white, just a slight tint from the roots exel i think. i did quarter strength roots exel this wk. cut out the algen i was doin tho. im def done w/ the roots exel for the remainder....so i assume the prob is in the cube. hand watered the bleach solution on the cube where the drippers were, and all around the top of the hydroton.

so lights are scheduled to come on in an hour and 45 mins..should i just have 1 light on to keep their cycle regular w/o burning from no nutes? and keep up steady foliar feed while running the bleachwater and sm-90/bleachwater? the other ones look healthy and have been puttin on weight past couple days, so don't want them to be neglected too long...

also, what else do u and dizzle use as a preventative, cuz the issue was not res temps. bleach?

Is that plant exposed to direct cold wind? I have a plant that I put in from on my minisplit and it looked like that after a few days. Good news is that its not in the roots so if your stem is not rotting it some environmental condition. Did you check the airstones in the minires?

the airstones are still goin strong, and the plant not near direct cold wind. the hairs on the buds on this plant are turning orange. im giving it 8 more hrs or so and if i dont see improvement its getting unconnected from the system. i have 2 lights on now, 500 ppm w/ bleach, sm90, multizen, a and b, superthrive. also foliar sprayed twice.

I have been misting mine 2x a night with 6ph water, baby this plant, when you add the bleach mix it with a gal of water first

cut the lights around that plant until it perks back up. adding bleach to the res every 4 days is a great way to keep things sterile. we are only talking 2ppm but it makes sure pythium is dead. its very safe and very cheap. I posted it in another thread but this dose rate is homemade pythoff which is the major product for root rot
. the sm-90 only needs to be added at res change

check your roots every single day from here on out. I know its tough with your cages but I think its a must, its the only way to know whats up. good thing is you caught it early so I think you will survive

the top feed can kill you if it keeps things too wet, my second run I swore off rockwool because I couldnt keep it from getting too wet or too dry.

also, the roots maybe white, but the wilt is a clear sign, if you did nothing you could have checked your roots tomorrow and they would have been all fucked up, it really happens that fast, scary shit. you plant isnt yellowing so you def caught it early. now you know what to do and can handle it in the future, it will most likely happen again in your life

I think JK was hinting that DD had some rot issuse and seeked his advice, so it can happen to anyone, Its scary shit, but def makes things exciting

no improvement in last 12 hrs(lights on). she has some yellowing on one side, but that was there yesterday. the other plants are lookin good. at this point wannna get the other girls back to normal conditions, they were really puttin on some weight past couple days prior to this. i dunno.

guess im glad that others get it too. i will be taking more preventative measures now for sure...i was under the impression that the cool restemps and the multizyme/hygrozyme would be enough.

lights(3) going off now, this plant better perk up quick or its gettin disconnected..

Why would you put something like bleach in your water without looking first? You guys need a better way to fix your ills then bleach.
You are sharing the same water so if your girls are weak they would be showing some symptoms. I would be trying to help your girls absorb that bleach and renew a healthy environment.
If you take her off line you could just set it up as a dwc. Suerte JK
