Good morning. 2.6 EC is high for the current growth stage. Should be more like 1.4-1.6 right now, but if you have EC in your tap you should factor that in to the final number.

I like to know if you add the ppm from your tap to the nutes, Captain?

I'm new to this but if i add 440 ppm from my tap water on top of what my nute scheme say, i'd say it will mean something

But I'm measuring EC.
Isn't it the total value that counts? And I'm measuring that after adding nutrients, so it should be correct according to schedule ?

Update day 1 12/12

The two ladies on the top left look rather sad compared to the others.
But the front 3 look amazing imo.

My scrognet arrived today too. Should I hang it up yet?

And another defoliation in week 3 of flowering?

I pluck leaf anytime they are in the way. I see a lot in the way in this pic...lol Leaf removal for me starts in early veg and doesn't stop till about mid flower.

To me leaf removal is a legit method of training. I use it in early veg to coax out branches. In Veg if a leaf is in the way of a budsite I remove it. After wk 4 ive really slacked off and let them go.

Thats my way...it may conflict with others but I share it because it works for me.

Do you remove leafs daily, weakly ? Do they need to recover from it for some days ? I'm afraid to take away to much

Hey Captain.
Sorry for changing subject back, but try look at your last two picture posts and compare how the plants look.

It looks to me like more plants gets hook at end of the leaf.

I wish i could tell ya,
Temp and rv are okay, fluctuates a bit but okay.
I gave them water till runoff and the water after that only 50% nutrients. now back to normal.
Light is 43cm and currently around 700ppfd.

I removed them a week before the flower flip and 4 weeks into flower.

I approached my first grow with the infinite wisdom of Michael Scott: K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) Which is currently on day 49 of flower!

I understand what you're saying.
I'm the type of person who wants everything to be perfect. So I try to look up everything, and then get confused by all the different information.
10 years ago, things seemed much more peaceful without the app and all the sensors.

My " guess" is that Gmonster has a well ran grow with good environment and great control over nutrition.
When you run very good grows the ability to stress the plant with training goes way up. The plant bounces back quickly and seems unaffected by the defolation.
A lot of the things we do to pot plants is very dependant on the current grow we are running. Start having nutrition problems and the ability to remove leaves will be reduced.
I am running a mainline ( first time ) and everything I read stated there are more reasons to NOT use this training technique than there are to use it. Slow growth overall slow growth of nodes as it progresses and poor nutrition with ANY deficiencies are all reasons to not use this technique.

A lot of the advice folks get is def based on experience. If you never had a problem in the grow you can not really understand how the problem can effect your recommendation to " top an auto" or " top multiple flowers " or " defol any time " .
So much of the knowledge of growing comes from failed diaries. Perfect runs teach nothing other than the ability to follow directions. Pinning down gnants then getting a nutrition fade early and getting that sorted before flower by adding fish shit or reducing transperation until nutrition catches up is a grow where you learn how to fix problems.

Guys,
I just took a quick look in the tent before the lights go out to check if they need water later when the light goes back on, but they look droopy... Why ?
Pots still feel heavy, so i don't think they are drry ?
