Is it only red?
Red promotes stretching, blue for shorter plants.

I would use full spectrum.
Save the red to introduce during flower.

Never seen one before! Not for that kind of dough! I am certainly no light expert, but I wouldn’t mind seeing that specs on that! And who makes it? My first reaction is suspicion! For 500 bucks you can get a hell of a nice spider Farmer bar light! See what others say.

I’ve never seen something like that Newty! Do they make component set up like that? I know they make panels that are only good for veg or flour! And you have to switch them out! But 500 bucks is quite a bit of money!

I completely overlooked the price tag

My Spider Farmer SE4500 (430w model) cost me with sale and discount code, like $300.

2 Vivosun VS4000 (400w each) were $500 total

AC Infinity Ionframe EVO3 with promo, $250

Me too, I second this. I want to know the specs, company and unit model name for that price tag.

Seems crazy expensive but Mars Hydro makes the SP6500 that's $500, so maybe it's like that one

I was quick on the trigger as well lol.

Either way, all I see is red on the OPs.
I'm curious what brand theirs is and what the specs are

Can the OP explain the stretching they're referring to?
Can we see a side shot to actually see the stretching.
The plant is young and steady growth should be expected.

If the light has a blue spectrum, give it more blue and less red.
Like I said before, red promotes stretching no matter how much the light costs.
That's why most go with full spectrum and buy smaller supplement bars in red, blue, IR, UV and introduce them at the proper times.

you certainly did. so what am i looking at here as far as vegatative growth. im thinking about running some tests by moving the plant away from the light as see how it responds.

It sounds more like something that a commercial greenhouse set up would use when growing year-round to extend the hours of daylight, to keep their plants from flowering! It doesn’t sound like a tent light to me! That’s just what I glean from it!

I am pretty good at finding things haha grew up on the internet.

I am no expert but it seems like that light is designed for flower and for greenhouses from what I am reading. It looks like a great light, but not fit for purpose in this case. You can get away with 100w in total for veg, a light like that will be very cheap btw. If you are able to you should return the light then buy a cheaper 1-300w light from a brand that caters to tent/small indoor areas.

Considering your long space, this might be the kind of model you'll be looking for. Lots of people grow in your orientation, especially people with closets etc so LOTS of brands cater to that market seriously don't just settle on the first model you find, and if you want before you buy it you can tag us to ask us what we think.

i knew it was 66%red 33% blue. but not no blue. maybe it will be interesting to see how that does for a vegatative plant. i thought I read somewhere that the full spectrum were good for both vegatative and flowering plants. just not at the pricetag. if i find out it doesnt work later on.

The more I look at the plant the less it looks like it has actually stretched at all.
