Ac infinity filters are reversible allowing you to extend the life of the carbon.
I have had 3 of their 8 in filters in my rooms for almost 2 years with no complaints.
Im running a 8' phresh 750cfm filter in my 5x5 and has worked very well...if they are packed with rc-48 carbon there shouldnt b any probs with them...
When selecting your carbon filter it has to b rated more in cfm than the fan so it can easily suck air through it.the 1000cfm would work fine but a smaller filter would b better..i used a room cfm calculator to work out the size i need for my 5x5 ...i went bigger so i can have my fan on low for more stealth ..
Whats the problem you are seeing
If I'm not mistaken, the CFM mentionned for the filter is the maximum CFM the filter can go to do a proper job. If the filter is a 100CFM and you run a fan at its max at 300CFM, your filter won't have time to filtre what it has to filter. On the other hand, a too big filter with a lower fan CFM will make your fan works real hard, but it's better than having a stronger fan (without the function to control the speed) vs the filter.I'm not seeing any problems just wasn't sure what CFM rated filter I should go for
So the 6x12CFM filter with the 6" cloudline fan will be fine for eliminating smells then
That's the fan and filter I have, I have added a controller 67 as well and I'm very happy with it, have it nearly a year ( Controller 67 was a later addition)
I used it in my first tent the 60x120x180cm and it was abit overkill but nice to just run it on setting 2 for zero noise, it has done perfect in my 1x1x1.8m tent and coping fine now in my 1x2x2.2m tent, it's running on setting 5 though.
Yes same Phresh filter, it's a fat buggerYou're 6x12 phresh filter also?
I'm gonna buy them today
