Hey that's sweet Harley09, I'll look into diy cob lights. Seems a decent option, if I can keep it safe !! Lol

Cheers bud.

I've got two of the older SS 400's I got nearly 1 gram per watt out of them but for the money I would go with DIY COB LEDs here are some pictures of my first grow with them

But i think the new ss 550 and 1100
Commercial lights are a little nicer!

Hey, I love this diy setup. I've priced it at about £350. Will it match up to a 200w HPS?

Cheers.

Peace out

Hi Guys,

I use a 1000w LED over a 2 x 3" scrog grow. I'm going to try supplimental lighting around the four corners of the room with 60w LED corn bulbs. Have I wasted my money ? Or will it add some bulk to the periphery of my grows? Any experience would be appreciated. I manage ok with the 1000w, but the buds are not as full around the edges.

Cheers

Well I'm into week 3 flower, and those 60w corn bulbs are working a treat. They fill each corner of my room with additional lights, which stops them stretching for the 1000w light in the centre !!

Peace out.
