Last year was our first sharing with the Community at THC Farmer. We poorly prepared knowing which plants were which strain. They grew nicely and our yield met the need for all 215 family. This year we're better prepared with good identification, and our harvest will hopefully be as productive as last year. Oh, always save the best for last: ignorance stressed the first plants into early flowering. A second group transitioned fine: Grand Daddy Purple, Trainwreck, and .....well, I did mention our record keeping lacked structure and conventionality. Rookie Lesson 1: Good Crop x Bad Records yields good medicine but accurate identification not so much.

****************************************************************************************************

Our Dispensary provided us (6/4/2015) with clones: Sativa Dominant Strain include - Alien OG, Fire OG, Tahoe OG; Indica Dominant Strain - Boss OG, Platinum OG, Ghost OG. The provider is Dark Heart Nursery for all plants, and were transplanted into 1 gl Smart Pots and placed under Florescent Lights supplemented with Natural Outdoor light. I went to the Grow Diaries Forum, but after reviewing I thought to post progress as we go here because we're a small family garden grown outdoors in N-CA . Let's see if we Learned anything last year.

Pictures Under Lights: 6/4 & 6/11

First Night on 6/4 will move to Smart Pots on 6/5

1 Gallon Smart Pots with new Girls getting ready for the great outdoors.

Still working on pictures to add to the Story. Getting familiar with Thumbnail vs Full Image and how it appears once the Create Thread button is selected. Well here goes....

Well labeled and easy to identify strain we purchased yesterday.
From our perspective its been a peculiar year, and we base plant day on ambient temperature versus calendar date. The girls will be going to their Sacred Garden of Peace, Love, and Joy to be shared with the Humans who care and cultivate Her. It is a Sacrament worthy of consideration.

Thanks,
Jung INTJ

Consider the book Psychological Types to provide origins for the Myers-Briggs Personality assessment. The concept of Introvert and Extrovert began discussion with Carl Jung and those in the Discipline of Depth Psychology. In addition, the four (4) Functions are: Feeling - Thinking and Intuition - Sensing.

Socrates suggested to Aristotle and Plato to first "Know Yourself", and their contribution to Humankind....New World View emerged.

Remember it could possibly begin, or possibly be plagiarism, but the Ultimate Outcome for My Life Rests Upon My Willingness to Engage Reality to the Best of My Understanding, and Share from My Bounty with Others.

Until the next time, let's grow together in Spirit, Love, and Compassion. The Girls will respond favorably to the Human Spirit Connection.

Pulling up a chair on this one. Things are looking good.

I've studied the MBTI a bit, not too extensively though. I've taken the test twice, the first time indicating INTJ and the second indicating ISTJ. Granted, I was in varying mental states at the different moments so this likely influenced the results.

Can't wait to see how things come along here.

One Love,

I've heard it said, not sure of its source, but "The mind is like a parachute, it works best when open". I've also used the MBTI for an in moment frame of reference. The discipline of Depth Psychology and its Pioneers have provided me with a rich journey approaching my 6th decade.

Your primary orientation to the World from the Introverted value is consistent, and you're Thinking with the Feeling functions balanced support for either the Intuitive or Sensing function. I know when I had a problem at work my Sensing function activated. Needless to say I was not operating from my strength, and I was, well, fucked up. Cannabis is part of my Mental Health: Life Cycle, Value of Joy, and the "Connection" of attitude when in the Garden. I "Feel" balanced and at "Peace" in the Garden and that little plot is Sacred.

Take Care tobh and Thanks for the reply.

The PDF is a Golf Life Perspective: It seems that I've attached it 4 times to post. I suspect an Administrator (Seamaiden?) can delete all but one.
Thanks in advance.

Date 6/12/2015: The Girls will spend the night out of doors with 1 Gl Smart Pot on the soil to orient to Mother Earth with new Life Cycle. Transplant set for tomorrow into the Morning Glory covered garden. With it being another year of drought our drip system needs to both effective and efficient. Our challenge is a 25% reduction from metered 2013 values. We are engaging personal water conservation, but with 2 Horses, 5 Rabbits, 6 Chickens that call our 3/4 of an acre home, conservation needs to be in perspective. Let me know if Lifes Little Lesson PDF is available. If you're a golfer it seemed better than Master Card, Too Big to Fail, and other capers from our recent past. The dawning of new hopes is in the air, and may our knowledge, understanding, and good luck provide all our families.

The 1 Gl Smart Pots have given us a little time to make drip system improvements. Replaced the main 5/8" with new and unmolested tube. For 10 bucks a tool to help keep me from stabbing myself. Planted 2 Fire OG and 1 Tahoe OG in the ground. Still manual water, but it is rather ironic the brand new sprayer in our garage was for Roundup and all it will ever see is H2O. Once the girls are in the ground I'll add some pics.

Any feedback on the pics above and make the smaller yet still effective.
Let me know, I'm not sure if this like ALL CAPS in the word world of symbols.

Looking good! Fellow INTJ, and farmer.
I just put a few girls out today myself, and need to upgrade the drip system tomorrow (no tool).

Okay, Planted Fire 1 - Fire - 2 & Platinum 1 in Row 1; Boss 1 & Boss 2 in Row 2; and Alien 1 - Ghost 1 & Tahoe 1 in Row 3. Our Garden has 20 years of rototiling manure from our horses Lady and Kalua. We use FoxFarm worm castings and bat guano for the 1 Gl Smart Pots, then dig a hole sufficient to add more soil and transfer the girls to their new home.
I've heard others talk about the Spirit the Farmer brings to time spent in the Garden. I'm being intentional with my "state of mind" while in the garden. If I'm going for solace after a heated argument I must first spend time enjoying the trees, birds, rabbits, chickens and horses. Afterward I'm ready to nurture the plants with an open mind, and gentle spirit. Here are some recent pic taken 6/20/2015. Going to see what upload as a Thumbnail creates:

Discovery, the pictures were preserved, thank the site administrators. Not a bad outcome for the infamous ignorance, gun, and foot syndrome. Left to Right then Top to Bottom.
Pic 1 is Row 1 w/3 Plants - Pic 2 is Row 2 w/2 Plants & Pic 3 is Row 3 w/3 Plants. Row 1: Ghost (closest) Alien (Middle) and Tahoe (Top). Row 2: Boss 1 & Boss 2 (will mark labels to differentiate), and Row 3: Platinum (closest) Fire #2 (Middle) and Fire #1. Both Fire #1 and Boss #2 are presenting less robust as the 6 others. At least the Garden has 2 of each strain, and even if we harvest from the 6 for primary harvest it would be great. The 2 remaining would be harvested for the family freeloading on others. I know, CoDependent and all that, but they will show up and to have good but not great product wouldn't break my heart.

It sure is interesting experimenting with the web site, sharing for others to see, and hopefully receive encouragement and direction from the long time "professional" growers present here. Taly Ho!!!
