I haven’t done much other than water and supply some nutrients canna vege and now switched to canna Flores the summer this year has been a little unpredictable with wild swings from the 20c to 40c a bit of rain and a lot of over cast days.

That plants don’t look anything like the indoor grows I see on this site, but I have got them this far and they are flowering.

I just have no idea what I am doing when to harvest should I harvest them all together at the same time or as they shows signs of being ready. And I have to seriously think now about how and where I am going to dry these plants ideally in my office wardrobe but I feel like the Mrs with cut my head off if I stink up the house.

Any advice on the plants or what to do next appreciated

Also plant 4 the buds look very different to the rest I am not sure what the hell is going on here is it a male?

Is it a gorilla glue ? looks like some slight cal/mag issues , small brown spots on leaves ...i had a gorilla glue last year with same type of buds , its just how they grow, (i didnt end up smoking mine because the plant got bud rot after a bit of rain)
I think that has got a few weeks to go yet

Awesome job so far @SmokeyCoder 👊🏼

All female plants. Still pretty green looking and the buds are slightly loose....so 2 weeks or more for those leaf colours to fade and buds to get larger and tighten up.

Are these autoflower? You could probably get away from the veg nutes now and stick with the 'flores' I believe you said. All in All you have done a great job man!!! 👍🏼

Thanks guys good to know I am on track. I had predicted March harvest so another 2 to 4 weeks line up with what your saying.

The seeds were sold as “ak-47” feminised auto flowers.

But in Australia you aren’t exactly buying from legitimate businesses.

I had a couple over the summer, I think the strain was Alien OG and it threw calyx clusters that looked just like that plant #4. I wasn't a fan how the buds didn't beef up but they wound up putting a real nice berry pine profile together. The way it's stacking, it's just how it expresses its genetics.

I finished my first grow and after drying and trimming I netted just over 150grams or I think 5 ounces for my yanky friends.

Overall the quality of the buds compared to what I have seen from other growers on here is pretty shit, but if I compare it to what I would typically by on the street here in Australia I would say it’s as good if not better.

Currently curing and can’t wait to roll my first spliff of my homegrown.

So what did I learn…
1. Growing out side is a mission
2. Next grow is inside where I can control everything
3. I have found a local expert who has offered to essentially mentor me
4. Dry trimming 5 small to mid sized plants is a chore going to try a wet trim next time
5. This is a fun and addictive hobby

So my return on investment
$75 seeds
$120 for 5 pots and potting mix
$60 for some nutrients
3 months of my time

In Australia a quarter ounce from your friendly neighbour dealer is about $250 and I produced about 21x that for a value of just over $5,000AUD

the plan now:
I have obtained 5 more seeds + 1 bonus one from a new supplier. I have the local hydro shop owner on board to help me perfect my grow, and I have all the entry level gear for an indoor grow.

Fingers crossed for some goofball sized buds
