What I mean by a lift is something even a couple bricks to keep your pots from sitting in the saucer therefore in the runoff before you suck it out. Very important. You can purchase things made specifically for this I don’t know what to call en though. Looks like a plastic mesh circle with legs that your pot sits on top of. Get creative you can probably find something around the house to achieve this?
