Hey all I thought I would share a few projects I been working on.
The first one here is my favorite and the one I will continue to work with.

O.D.G. - Orange Diesel x Grendel. The Orange Diesel mother is Ae77 Cali-O x Annacs NYCD f2 and the Grendel father is NdnG13 x XXX Blue Moonshine.
My objective with this cross was to create a blend of the two. Growth structure of the O.D. with the extreme frost and stickiness of the Grendel. What I found however was not quite it but close. I think it just needs more O.D. structure. I only made a few of these bout a hundo or so. I have run quite a few of them since then and 1 pheno in particular stood out. It’s very Fuely and skunky with an orange kick. It’s a lot like the Orange Diesel but instead of large long colas it’s shorter and more compact with a very heavy resin coating. So much so that it’s a texture I would describe as crusty. Anyway all in all there appear to be about 5 female phenos. This first set of pics is the one I chose as the keeper.

This set of pics is another pheno of the five. Its very similar to the keeper in growth and bud structure. But instead of the intense fuel skunk orange smell it draws from the Grendel with a hashy berry bubblegum scent.

This is a third pheno of the five. It has very dense buds with a higher calyx to leaf ratio and a woody bland skunk smell and a very subtle cherry smell underneath it all. Dry buds had a sandy texture and an astringent hashy incense flavor. Good structure but finished product not real impressive. I ran this a few times to be sure it wasn't something worth while. I even reversed to keeper clone and hit this up in an attempt to fill out the keeper bud structure. Though I haven't gotten to em yet so I dont how they turned out.

This is the fourth of the five. I found this one to be almost exactly like a NYCD I seen a while back. Loose bud structure with lots a fox-tailing. The smell and taste were nothing like NYCD tho. More like sandalwood and celery. I only ran it once buds were way to fluffy for me.

This is the last of the five. Its like a fusion between the first three phenos frosty like the first 2, dense buds and more open structured like the 3rd. A fuely skunky orange bubblegum smell. The one issue I have with it is that it does not yeild well at all. But I ran it a few times and decided to hit it up with the reversed keeper.

O. D. G. O. D.

Well as I said earlier I wanted to add more Orange Diesel structure to the O.D.G. keeper I selected. So I did a back cross to the Orange Diesel. Only this time the male was an Orange Diesel. So we get O.D.G. x Orange Diesel or O.D.G.O.D.
Haven't had a chance to really run thru them and see what were workin with yet but I did run 2 of them. Neither 1 of them have that fuely skunk smell but they both have a sour orange and hash smell. I imagine it’s only a matter of time before I find one that does. But most importantly I found out that it doesn't really seem to have added any of that long cola structure from the Orange Diesel to it. They are still bushy as hell. I’m curious to see how they might do outside....hhhhhmmmm.... anyway. I guess at this point I’ll just have to run more of them and see. Also I have another Orange Diesel male to try out and see if that has a different effect. Otherwise I have Orange Diesel f2gen to sift thru see wut pops up.
So here are some shots at around 45 days or so.

Killer work. Thank you for posting these pictures. Your cross looks great.

Lots of trimming with that first pheno. Looks really sticky.

The 3rd pheno looks like it would be the most mold resistent to me. I like that the buds look hard.

Ah yes a bit o trimming with O.D.G. keeper, part of the reason I wanted add more orange diesel structure to it. Imagine those krusty stanky nuggets as 1'-2' colas about the size of pop cans (in soil organically fed). Though the trimmings make grade a shatter so that's a plus. Yes the third pheno was pretty dense. Cant really speak to mold resistance haven't had that problem really.
