hello all,
so im sick of shitty medical marijuana magazines. they are generally full of crap, with a few good articles and photos here and there, but mostly just bullshit and ADS! half the magazine these days are ads...
here at the farm there is such a vast wealth of information and growers, why not make our own magazine.
i can create an online magazine available for download in .pdf for almost no cost = no ads
i would be looking for a few sponsors, the more sponsors the more issues can actually be printed. but for the most part it would be online.
lets say a seed co decided to sponsor, now instead of your normal advertisement they would get an extra long detailed grow journal and smoke report.
i can work my way around adobe software to design and compile the issues
and create the website where the .pdfs can be downloaded
the way the future is headed less paper the better. maybe the sponsors money would be used to hire a programmer to create an ipad app. or maybe something like this

now here is where i need the farms help...
im looking for anyone that wants to help me make this happen.
i want this to be for the patients by the patients.
any and all input will be greatly appreciated.
i will need writers and photographers for
grow journals
how to's
edibles
glass
medical scene
activism
politics
entertainment (stoner music and movies ect)
am i missing anything?
im really really going to strive for absolute quality.
writing skills isnt very important (ill have an editor for that), what you write about is. and also the photography needs to be of the highest quality. not to bash on anyones cameras or photography but if im doing this it needs to be the best. this magazine needs to be fucking beautiful inside and out. i plan on taking a lot of time and care into the layout and design of the articles. im an artist, i cant help myself.

i know there are bunches of you on here with dSLRs and macros for shooting buds
here are some mock ups i had laying around from something else that i just converted over to be a magazine
i like the name "Ocean Grown" but im open to all ideas. i was also thinking "Cannabliss"
