Why does everyone seem to like the foxtails, it does make your buds bigger but I thought it was a sign of being overdue for harvest???One must have patience waiting for Amber.

Enjoy everyone.

Very interesting stuff, the light leak myth never made sense to me anyhow because plants grown outside have all kinds off light interruptions and don't have a problem.Excellent read makes me wonder if I should from 12/12 to. 14/10 would give me more time on work days maybe 13/11
if the light leak is strong enough to read a book than it can hermie a plant,.Very interesting stuff, the light leak myth never made sense to me anyhow because plants grown outside have all kinds off light interruptions and don't have a problem.
Also,#1 how do you know if your strain is compatible with 14 hour light, he did say that NOT all strains can do that.
And #2, why would anyone take the chance of fucking up their girls when if you want to increase your DLI you can lower your light or turn up the power (if applicable),unless you've maxed out your light and are already 12 inches away, you have choices!
I do like the talk of that hybrid of the autos and reg weed that can flower at 14-16 hours, that sounds perfect!
U could use a 150 watt light ,low electric bill, and 18veg to 16 hour flower.
I still think the best is autos, I grew some before this run and it's QUICK and I got 10 Z's from 6 plants.
And I've heard that you can run an Auto @ 12/12 all the way from seed with similar results.
Thanks for the read.
Well, that sounds like you're saying that flowering happens when you've accumulated a certain amount of darkness? It’s to keep the amount of Gibberellins from increasing to a point of flower happening.
By my calculations I will have saved 210 light hours by tomorrow .
Win win in my books and the growth rate seems spoton.

Do you think gradually switching the light to 12/12 does anything to help you?if the light leak is strong enough to read a book than it can hermie a plant,.
i start and veg my plants under 16/8 when i’m getting close to flower i’ll lower the hours usually an hour a week and yes most if not all hybrids will start to flower under 14/10 i’ll keep it there for 3-4 weeks than lower to 13/11 for 3-4 weeks than finish out on 12/12,.
most landraces and sativas need 13/11 to start flowering if that than ill follow the above with lowering hours finishing out on 11/13,..
Randy has since past and you will only see his work in reproductions or a few packs that I have seen in the for sale ads.Holy shit, I went to Useful Seedsand everything they sell is,SOLD OUT!!!
There is Christmas for the whole year in your tentOne week in and there settling in well to the new pots and stretching along.
Just a bit too much fertilizer but that’s an easy remedy.

The question is what's better to have? (if happens)LOL you got the claw from over N and i'm under feeding N during early flower. I'm gonna bump mine up cause she looks to need it bad. That's my Blue Dream on the left first time i grew this strain and she wants more N in the bloom nutes. Week 3 flower. Good luck on your end
I was was chatting with a friend about thisLOL you got the claw from over N and i'm under feeding N during early flower. I'm gonna bump mine up cause she looks to need it bad. Too much N during flowering, can delay/extend flowering time and result in less dense buds, with more leafy buds. It's not a huge deal unless it's really been badly overfed (severe clawing or toxicity). I like to get to the point when feeding that the very tips of the leaves have a little yellow/brown, that's the plant's way of saying "Thank you I've had enough".The question is what's better to have? (if happens)
I guess a little* overfeeding, but during mid flower it could have a more negative effect but im no scientist, maybe @Phyto or anybody else who could tell us with a scientific background
