AC Infinity S16 light bars

Heya all, I bought some of the supplementary light bars and although my 100w main light is from a reputable company is good, with it being 100w it hasn't got the penetration.....maybe 2 inch down into the canopy with enough power left.

So I got these bars, cost £100 and because I've only got room for 1 plant and id like to grow one with bigger side Colas.

And there magnetic so there easy to set up in a tent with double sided tape to stick the magnetic bars on.

I can go a max 75cm height so the next one i would love to get a really nice fat plant around 100g.

Its a little to late on my current plant..... well the whole plant is now getting light so hopefully the lower down buds I would normally chop

I reckon another 2 to 3 weeks so hopefully they will make a difference, and will it create a more stocky plant with small spaces on the internodes and harder more substantial buds.

I know what seeds I'm going to try next, I'm only doing Autos right now so do use have any recommendations ?

Also I want to use bigger pots but the height thing stops me, does anyone have any experience growing in shallow but large pots. I don't want anything more than 6" tall but can go upto 21" long and 11" width..... would that work ok ?

I have heard Mephisto is the place for autos. I think they are on the pricier side but I’ve been recommended them for autos from other members here who have used them. Galgrows is a member who has grown them i think.

You get 2 sizes, the 1 on the lights then 6 daisy chain cables that are about 50cm each so technically you could have each 1m alart

Hmm then maybe i will buy it new tent is 120x120 if i get 3 sides its great. I have total darknes at the bottom now XD.

As for the lamps they use the best white light there is i think the 3.0 j soo should be good price for the light you didnt overpay.

And your positioning is great whole branches are full of light i just hope the light is not too strong but there is not many watts in them soo

You get plenty of daisy chain, I only use one where it connects to the other side and you get around 3" coming out of either bar so that's 6" apart unless you use the daisy chains, you can buy more if you need.

I would buy 2 sets for a 1m x 1m. My top panel isnt AC Infinity, but rather an ex show model of a Grow the Jungle 100w that I got for £50 on eBay, there a top end Spanish brand and would of cost nearly €130 to get one imported.

Those bars use the bigger Samsung bulbs the H series and it's a mix of white and warm light.

Definitely recommend them. A couple on the floor would be a good idea if you know they won't get piss wet though.

Thats just the spares I got for if I had a bigger grow....really impressed with them

No it was the shop show model fella, brand spanking it's just all the packaging had been opened ect and didn't have the cables to hang it up, I know what your saying though.

No it's not for heat, it's a small open grow in my bedroom, theres a 1ft space at the that dictates the heat and gives my fan blowing over it a place to go. Its normally around 1/2oC higher than the ambient room temp, rarely goes above 23oC now we are getting the cold coming in.

I use it just to pull the smell from the plant and I tell you it works bloody well, when I'm hotboxed you can see it pulling all the air in lol, it has a range of around 2ft, tested it with those smoke bombs. That's why it's right next to the plant

When I've got my own place I will be putting an 8 or 10" in as I like it being quiet, we used to have a couple of those box fans when me and a friend used to cash crop.

Take that plant out of my wardrobe when the sun comes out it stinks, not long after it only pongs if you stick you nose right into it.

I don't know what it is it was a free Auto from 42 and I forgot to right the name down.

Been told I don't need one for an open 1 plant grow, but it's there for the future.

If your wondering what the round gold thing is, it's my photography reflector and turns white light into warm, I use the white side when vegging lol, not bad for a load of shite thrown together

thats what I meant when I said it's open, it actually slides on the shelves where in it so I can pull it backwards and forwards to the wall if I like.

Nope whole 8g for a entire grow.i think it was my first hydro grow with a bag seed.
