Simple is better. Check the weight of your dry soil in the pot so you can tell when it's light again and needs water... overwatering is easy to do, these ladies like to let thier roots dry out a bit.

in veg concern yourself with basic plant structrue then in flower concern yourself with buds (size, per leaf ratio, ect)

Diatomaceous earth was recommended to me for pest removal, silica intake and is non toxic to pets and animals! This stuff saved me

Don't try and grow your first time indoors at 13 years of age,using a cheap incandescent lightbulb hastily hung inside a hollow nightstand. You'll wake up to your room filled with toxic smoke when the bulb falls to the carpet and starts burning it.
