I see so Epsom salts are going to be the best solution. Would you suggest using them with nutrients or just water?Dolomite lime is calcium and magnessium with slow release, epsom salts are water soluble aka fast release and its magnessium and sulfur. Dolomite lime doesnt help you to rebalance nutes or wash away salts but it stabilizes ph. Dolomite lime is best mixed with the soil, top dressing with them is not as effective.
I have 3 water ph testers and one that goes directly into the soil.Have you tried a soil slurry test with distilled or RO water? Or do you have a soil ph tester?
Is there a specific type of Epsom salts to use? I checked Amazon and all I see is stuff for beauty…I see so Epsom salts are going to be the best solution. Would you suggest using them with nutrients or just water
You can mix it with the nutes if you want. Its also a good flushing agent if you dont have any, to shorten the flush period. In your first grow you will probably have doubts as to when to start flushing so you can use epsom salts to shorten the flush from 2 weeks to 1 or less. Water with epsom salts until runoff 1 or 2 times then plain water.I see so Epsom salts are going to be the best solution. Would you suggest using them with nutrients or just water?
As long as its pure epsom salts without additives youre good.Is there a specific type of Epsom salts to use? I checked Amazon and all I see is stuff for beauty…
Honestly, I don’t see either ca deficiency or mg deficiency in these leaf picsI’m not sure if they have too much mag or not enough
what would you think the problem is?Honestly, I don’t see either ca deficiency or mg deficiency in these leaf pics
I do have an EC and PPM meter. Comes to about 100ppm or soHave you ever had your tap tested? I have well water here and thought i'd save tons on water and it is the worst water i've ever had.
How much would you recommend? I’ve been Googling around and each product says different amounts and some don’t have any user guidesAs long as its pure epsom salts without additives youre good.
What is the ph as close to the root zone as you can get without damage? And google cannabis soil slurry, you can test it with just a few oz of distilled water and a coffee filter, then use your liquid ph tester. 2 parts water to 1 part soil sample.I have 3 water ph testers and one that goes directly into the soil.
I’ve been using tap water and simply PH balancing. RO water is expensive in large quantities. Remember being in the UK things for growing aren’t cheap
10 grams for every 2 gallons or 7 liters of substrate no more than once every 10 days. Or 1 tablespoon for every 10 liters/2,5 gallons of substrate. No more than once every 10 days. How much would you recommend? I’ve been Googling around and each product says different amounts and some don’t have any user guides
well what's in it? TDS/PPM is only going to reflect charged particles, shit you could pour gasoline in it and a PPM meter wouldn't detect it.I do have an EC and PPM meter. Comes to about 100ppm or so
So I’m guessing this placed on the soil and then watered or dissolved into the water? The water, right, might be too heavy on minerals which would explain

Yes I let the water sit but in a closed container. There is a small air hole. Il leave that open from now onAlso do you let the water sit for a day or two so the chlorine can evaporate before you use it?
Its water soluble, you can do either but I put them directly in the water, doesnt take long for them to dissolve. So I’m guessing this placed on the soil and then watered or dissolved into the water?
Yes, leave it open. Since you probably water only once or twice per week you can let it sit for 3 days. The more the better as long as its not outdoors.Yes I let the water sit but in a closed container. There is a small air hole. Il leave that open from now on
